She's the daughter of a billionaire, and I'm just about broke. Not to mention, she's dazzling and currently taken. Oh, and she's straight. Way out of my league. So much so that it hurts, how she can't be mine, but that's just how life works, I guess.
Saying all of that, you can't help but like her, she's pretty, rich, smart, basically Lydia Martin. She's dating an ass, too. Very much Lydia. Ugh I love Teen Wolf and I love Lydia Martin. Shut up, don't judge.
As I close my locker door, Rayleigh Andersen and her friends giggle as they pass by. I longingly stare at her beautiful brown hair. How could she be this perfect?
"Staring at Rayleigh again, Miss Jensen?" Ben, my bestie, teases.
Ben is the class clown. Hilarious and desirable, just as the cliche suggests. "Shut up." I mumble. If you're wondering, he's pretty straight, and also taken. Sorry, ladies (or men, I don't judge).
"Kirstie, come on, it's lunch now." Ben calls. I nod and follow.
He slides in next to his girlfriend, Irene, who is Rayleigh's best friend. Therefore we are sitting at the same table as Rayleigh. Irene blushes as Ben pecks her on the cheek.
Ah, I strive to be in such an adorable relationship.
"Hey Kirstie, how are you?" Rayleigh asks. I am taken aback. Did my crush just say something to me?
"Er... I guess I'm good. Well, not the best, because, erm- y'know. School's just... meh. But I have friends, which is always good. Yeah I'm alright." I awkwardly say.Why do I struggle to talk?
She chuckles. "Okay."
A silence settles between us.
It's only polite to ask her how she's doing, stupid. "How have you been doing?" I ask.
"I just broke up with Michael. Looks like he was just off with Lillie." She rolls her eyes and sighs. I can't help but feel slightly overjoyed. But then that joy fades as I realise that even if I do have a chance with her, I'm moving to a different school next week. Sucks to be me, I know.
"That's horrible. I'm so sorry." I say. She shrugs.
"It's alright, he was a douche." I nod and take a huge bite out of my pizza.

"Kirstie, come on. I'll be suuuper lonely without you, and so will Rayleigh." Ben teases.
"You know I don't do parties. It's loud and noisy. Also, first you get drunk, dance, then what?" I complain.
"Please Kirstieee. You're leaving soon." He pouts his lips and pulls out his puppy eyes. Dammit. Fine.
"Okay..." I sigh. Ben cheers and whoops. Just this once.

I am super glad I wore this halter neck sundress because it is super humid. Music is too loud, outfits are too loud, teenagers are too loud, I hate this environment.
"Can we go home now?" I plead. Ben only laughs.
"Kirstie, we haven't even been here for a minute! Come on, loosen up!" He says and drags me toward Rayleigh's clan.

WHY HAVE I AGREED TO PLAY SPIN THE BOTTLE. I DON'T KNOW. WHAT WAS I THINKING?!
It's probably because Ben is playing. And Rayleigh...
AJ, Ben's friend, spins first. It lands on some girl called Camilla. They kiss, and Camilla clearly enjoyed it. Who wouldn't? AJ is pretty cute for a guy.
Now Camilla's turn. It lands on some blonde dude. I don't even know his name. Then that dude spins. It lands on Rayleigh.
But then she puts her hand on his mouth. "Just let me spin." The dude obeys because Rayleigh has power. She spins...
And it lands on me.
Whyyyyyyyy.
She leans up and kisses me. I kiss her back for a brief moment. She pulls away and... smiles?
My cheeks are flaming.
What in the actual frick just happened?
[Meh not too happy with this one. But... meh.]
