Dear Diary,

I don't have much time to write this, I hear the Polish robots creaking, so they're coming soon. It's only been two weeks since this stupid thing started. I already am not sure where Mother, Father or Luca are, but my older sister Jordan is with me.

I'm scared. What will they do to us? I mean, it isn't our fault that our country's soldiers want to kill. We are not the soldiers and we don't kill. They're coming. Bye.

Dear Diary,

Sorry I can't write everyday. You know, I've been busy because of you-know-what. Yesterday, the robots came. Well, we held our breath and managed to escape.

I'm in a secluded corner. I'm definitely hungry, since Jordan and I haven't eaten much in three days. Will we ever be able to live through this?

Dear Diary,

The craziest thing happened yesterday! Some Polish robots went right past us. We hid under the rubble of some building for about 20 minutes, then they left.

I'm super scared if we get caught. There have been rumours that they cut open your skull and extract your MemChip to get any information that may be useful to them. What's even scarier is that it sounds like a reasonable thing for them to do. Gotta go, bye.

Dear Diary,

Jordan found an entire loaf of bread yesterday. She said that she'll only have a quarter of it and I'll have the rest because I'm growing. I'm already 10, I think I've grown enough. But it's very sweet of her.

I was going to ask if Luca joined the army, but then I remembered that him and Jordan are twins and Jordan is 17, which isn't old enough. Jordan is calling me, I have to go.

Dear Diary,

Today is my birthday! I'm now 11!! Also, Jordan teases me for writing in a book, since it's so old-fashioned. But it was grandma's! It's very vintage and cool and I quickly scavenged it into my bag. My bag has all my needs.

Well, Jordan will be back soon, so I have to go. And it's nearly 6, it's getting dark. I have to hide. Bye.

Dear Diary,

Yesterday Jordan came back witth a present, a new bag! I don't know how she got it, but I'm very grateful. Good timing too, because I'm sure this one will start to tatter soon.

We didn't have cake for my birthday, but it was still somewhat pleasant. We ate more bread. It's starting to finish now. It's time to sleep, I have to go.

Dear Diary,

Tonight I want to be on night duty. Jordan has always been on night duty, therefore she hasn't gotten much sleep so tonight I insisted that I take over. That means more writing time too, since I won't sleep. But I'll nap now, so I can stay up. See ya!
