Zelda looked up at the night sky, softly humming an old tune to herself. The stars smiled back at her, their eager sparkle reminding her of someone's eyes.
That someone suddenly appeared, gently tapping Zelda's shoulder.
She jumped in surprise, turning around and broke into a smile. "Link!"
Link smiled back, gladly accepting the sudden hug he was pulled into.
"I missed you!" Zelda pulled back with a gentle smile. "How are you?"
Link signed his answer; "I've been well!".
Zelda relaxed a little at the answer, hugging Link again. "Its crazy to think that its been years since the whole, uh...Hyrule being in danger thing."
Link nodded in agreement, resting his head on Zelda's shoulder. He was tired from traveling so far just to see his friend.
Zelda looked at him, "tired?"
Link nodded, about to reassure her not to worry when he was suddenly pulled to the large bed, blankets thrown around him.
Zelda smiled sweetly, ruffling Link's hair. "Sleep well, hero. I'll see ya in the morning!"
Link smiled a little, tugging on Zelda's hand before she left.
She looked back, to which Link let go of her hand and signed "stay?".
Zelda nodded, laying next to him and humming the tune from earlier.
Link smiled, and drifted happily to sleep.
