Damon's P.O.V.
"Damon!" I heard Stefan calling behind me but I didn't care. All I wanted to do was rip Katherine's head off of her sholders. Stefan grabbed my sholder and I turned around fast. Dylin was standing behind him, wipping away her tears. Guilt was overwhelming me. I looked at Stefan.
"she can't get away way this." I tell him. my eyes pleading for him to understand my anger.
"She won't." Dylin walks over and stands in between us. I looked at her. she looked so different now. What used to be long tightly curled black hair was replaced by shorter loose honey blonde curls. She was a bit paler than she used to be. Then again Skylar was the one that could tan just as well as our mom. I guess she did eventually find our mothers necklace because it was around her neck and grasped with one hand the other on her hip. Her long purple dress replaced with skinny jeans, high tops, a ruffled purple tank top and a leather jacket. I try to take it all in. The innocence of her face mixing with the bad ass look she was going for. she looks at me and smiles.
"Alright. I don't know about you guys but, I could really go for some tacos." we laugh and I grab the keys.
"let's go. My treat." I say smiling. Stefan looks at us and smiles.
"I hate to break it to ya, but it's only 5:06 I'm pretty sure nothings open right now." he laughs. Dylin and I look at each other then at Stefan and we shrug.
"then we can drive around till something opens." she says grabbing his coat and throwing it at him.
"that'll be cheap." he says putting on his jacket.
"hey buzz kill. Quit trying to get out of eating." she says "not all of us can just survive on blood some of us have to eat real food." she laughs. I open the door and start to walk out.
"Shot gun!" she calls as her and Stefan race to the car but Stefan beats her by about 20 seconds because of his speed.
"OK thats cheating." she laughs and hops in the back. Stefan climbs in the front and I start the car.
"everybody ready?" I ask. they nod their heads as we pull out of the driveway.
