Chapter 11: Awkward Walking

Dylin's P.O.V

After school let out I told Stefan that I needed to see a friend and get some stuff from her house. He looked confused.

"Want a ride?" he asked looking at me then the car. I shake my head.

"no it's ok it's not too far from here." I say. he shrugs.

"suit your self." he says getting into his car and waves before driving away I smile. He drives out of view and I turn to walk the other way. I start to look around to make sure no one follows me. I pull out my phone and text my friend to let her know that im on my way when I hear a voices calling my name. I turn around to see Jeremy and Tyler running towards me. I laugh as they skid to a stop. Jeremy hits Tyler on his chest.

"you may have been line backer but im still faster." he says smiling. They both look at me and to break the awkward silence and staring between me and Jeremy Tyler decides to talk.

"so why is the new girl walking all by herself?" he asks looking at Jeremy.

"I don't know good question." Jeremy replies, "oh I got it your a loner." he says waving his fingure at me. I smile and nod my head.

"you caught me. I'm a loner." I say turning around. they walk over again.

"may we walk with you?" Tyler asks in a wierd voice. Me and Jeremy look at each other then Tyler.

"only if you never do that voice again." I say, as he put his hand out.

"deal." he says as I shake his hand. We start to walk towards my friends house the guys talking and me texting my friend.

When we arrive at the big maroonish Victorian house I can see Tyler and Jeremy's mouths drop from the corner of my eyes. I chuckle under my breath. I turn to them.

"so uh thanks for the walk uh." I was at a lost for words and I didn't want to seem rude. "uh do you wanna come in?" I ask praying they'll say no and leave so me and my friends can talk. They look at me then the house then back at me and smile.

"yes." they say at the same time it kind of creeps me out. They start walking towards the house and and I walk behind them.

"great." I mumble under my breath. When we get to the door I run to stand in between them and the door.

"Dylin what are you doing?" Jeremy asks looking at me then Tyler. I stand there trying to think of something.

"uh I don't know how clean it is so let me go in and check it out and I'll be right back." I say slipping into the house. I close the door and slide down it putting mt head in my hands. when I look up im surronded by four girls also known as my best friends in the whole world and my sister. I smile and they help me up.

"hey, who are the hot guys?" Kat asks looking out the window. Kat was the really outgoing one. She had short curly brown hair with a reddish tint. she was wearing a white crop top with a skull on it and a pair of tight black short short and Doc Martin boots. Her dark brown eyes eyeing up Tyler and Jeremy. Haven rolls her eyes.

"Seriously Kat is that all you can think about." she asks. We laugh at her as she runs her hands through her sholder length brown hair. Haven was usually the most 'mature' out of us. Even though Skylar and I are technically a year older than her we were turned immortal a year before she was turned into a vampire so we never really got the chance to fully mature. Haven was an inch or two shorter than me with brown curly hair. She was wearing a dark green short sleeve shirt that really brought out her dark green eyes. She was also wearing short shorts but hers were white. I look at all my friends and roll my eyes.

"oh yeah. By the way I told Tyler and Jeremy they could come in." Kat's eyes lit up and Haven's went nervous.
