chapter 13: Power Monkeys

Skylar's P.O.V.

Jeremy walked over to help Dylin up and Autumn came over to help me up.

"Are you ok Skylar?" Autumn asked noticing the cut on my finger. I look at my finger then the knife on the ground.

"Uh yeah I'm fine I just need a band aide" I say and before I can even actually finish my sentence Autumn walks over to a drawer and pulls out a band aide. She turns around to hand it to me and I smile.

"Thanks Autumn." I say putting the band aide on. I send the rest of the girls a message.
"I think we should tell them about our powers. Besides my premonition was about Jeremy." I say. I look over at everybody. Dylin had a concerned look on her face.
"Sky are you sure. do you think its safe?" Dylin asks.
"yeah its safer for them to know." I respond looking at her and smiling I get message back from everybody else saying yes even Haven. I send Dylin another message.
"you should tell them they are your friends." I say and she smiles and nods.

"uh guys there's something you should know," she starts and looks at all of us "uh we have. We have powers." she says and Jeremy and Tyler look at each other then back at her and smirk.

"prove it." they say in unison. It kind freaked me out. Dylin looks around.
"any volunteers that want to go first?" she asks. I laugh at her.

"uh I'll go first." I say getting in position to use my powers. Autumm grabbed a plant and set it on the island. I give a smirk. I put out my hand palm up and slowly raise my hand making the plant rise with it. I flip my hand over and the plant drops. I smile at my work.

"I have telekinesis and premonition thats what happened when you guys were on the living room." I say. Haven looks over at me.

"Did you have to drop the plant?" she asked and I laughed. Kat smiles.

"my turn." she says way to excited. she focuses on the plant. she seperates her fingers and pulls her hand back then throwing it forward. the plant started on fire. Dylin ran to get the fire extinguisher. Kat smiles.

"I can do that I just can't put it out yet." she says before concentrating and sending me a message.
"what animal." she asks lookong at me.
"squirrel."  I say that was favorite animal she smiles at me and starts to focus. she starts to shrink and next thing you know she's a squirrel on the ground doing her 'I'm awesome dance.'  we laugh and she changes back into her actual self.

"I have control over fire and I'm a shape shifter."  Haven decided to go next. She puts out her hands and flicks her wrist and the plant explodes she puts up her hand and a force field protects us from the blast. she gives a smirk.

"molecular acceleration and force field." the guys looked confused at the molecular acceleration part. she sighs.

"I can blow stuff up." she says. they look at each other.

"oh ok we get it." Tyler says speaking for both of them. Haven nods and laughs. After Haven, Autumn went she took the band aide of my finger and held her hand above my finger. A yellowish light came from her hand and when she moved it away and the cut was gone. she smiled. the did the same hand gesture as Kat but instead of fire she threw an energy ball at the last of the flowers and laughed. she looked at them.

"I can heal and throw energy balls." she says while grabbing a broom and sust pan. Jeremy looks at Dylin. you could so tell that they were in to each other. he smiles.

"your turn." he says. she smiles. she looks at Haven and Haven nods she left the room and came back with a few umbrellas she hands one to Tyler and me and then keeps one for her and Kat. we open our umbrellas and Dylin smirks at us. She puts out her left hand and turns it to the left. It started pouring. Inside. she pushes out her hand and it lightnings. she turns her hand the right and the rain stops. she smiles and looks at Tyler.

"Can I use you?" she asks looking at him. he nods.

"sure why not what are you gonna do read my aaaaaawwwwww." he fell to the ground and was holding his head. then he stopped and got up. Jeremy looked at her.

"what did you do to him." he asked curiously. she shrugged.

"plant voices in peoples heads and manipulate acts of weather." she said.

Jeremy smiled.

"that's awesome."
