Emma's POV: 

As soon as I see Grayson's car pulling over, I get out of mine. 

"Are you ok?", Sam runs to hug me. 

"Yeah I am fine", I say kind of smiling to them. 

"What is going on? We are actually worried sick", Ethan says. 

"I talked with my dad...". 

"And?...", Grayson says impatiently. 

"Its worse than what I thought", I look down. 

"Oh no. What do you mean?", Sam asks. 

"Can we talk inside a car, I can't let anyone hear this conversation. I am not allowed to tell this to anyone, but you are my friends and almost family now". 

They look at me. "Lets go in mine", Grayson says. 

As soon as we are all sitting inside the car, I take a deep breath and begin to speak. 

"Basically, the bonds between Jackson's dad and my dad are more serious than what I thought... and dangerous. Like, ten years ago, my dad's company almost broke. We were bankrupt, and not getting any earnings from the business. I didn't know about this back then, but my dad had to do some... business, to take the company up in the market again". 

"Wait... what business?", Sam says. 

"Sam... let her speak", Ethan says and kisses her forehead. 

We laugh for a moment. "They were... illegal things. He made some favors, basically with drug dealers, and thats how he got the money to make the company survive. Two years after that, he crossed with one of his biggest enemies on the market, Jackson's dad. I don't know how, not even my dad knows, but Mr. Dawson appeared at my home telling my dad he knew the secret, and that he would expose him if they he didn't ally with his company. He basically blackmailed him, and my dad didn't have another option than to accept; thats why, all this years, my dad has been doing everything he can to please him".

Grayson took my hand, like he was telling me everything was going to be ok. 

I lost it here, I begin crying, but manage to continue. "I told my dad everything about us Grayson... how we began dating in summer, how I was seeing you right now, and that I really really like you". I pause for a second. "He asked me if I loved you... and I said ... yes". 

I look at him, he has a happy expression in his face. He hugs me and kisses my cheek, "I love you too Emma", he says as he continues hugging me. 

"But he told you, that you need to continue with Jackson to protect your family secret...", Sam says looking down. 

"No". They all look at me surprise, "he told me to choose. That he can't ask me to sacrifice my happiness for the mistakes he made in the past". 

"That is awesome Emma!", Ethan says happily. "You can now be together and break up with that son of a bitch that doesn't deserve you". 

"Eth... wait", Grayson says. "Emma, I love you so much, and I want to be with you more than anything, but I would understand if you want to continue protecting your family. Even thought it would be difficult, I am also willing to sacrifice if thats what would keep you happy". 

I look into his eyes, "what? Grayson... the only thing that would make me happy is to be with you right now". 

"Woooow, you two are cheesy as fuck", Ethan laughs loudly. 

Sam punches him a little in the stomach, "Eth, this is not the moment!"

"Chill babe, I am sorry", he laughs. We all do. 

"So, what are you saying?", Gray brings back the topic. 

"I choose you Grayson. My dad told me to not tell the truth to anyone, just to end things with Jackson and be with you. He told me nobody can know I know the truth, and that he would find a way to manage Jackson's dad". I smile and he does too. "oh, but he told me we need to be careful, now its my turn to ask if you really want to be a part of this. If we start dating, people are going to start watching you and your family. Mr. Dawson is a powerful man, he knows how to observe and control someone". 

"Emma, I don't care", he hugs me. "As long as we are ok, I don't mind what it takes to be with you". 

"Awwww look at them...", Sam smiles saying to Ethan. 

"Don't worry beautiful, we will also have our time alone", Ethan smirks. 

"Eww stoooop!", Grayson yells. "This conversation took from cute to dirty really soon". 

We all laugh. I have never felt so happy as I do know. 

"And what are you going to do with Jackson...", Sam asks. 

"I already have a plan for that...", I lift my brows and laugh mischievously. "I am going to 'surprise him' with one of his hoes, so I have an excuse. So Gray, we need to still keep it low for a bit so he doesn't suspect anything".

*The next day*

"Hey girl! how are you?", Sam approaches to me as soon as I get out of my car. 

"Hey you! I am feeling good... what about you?". But someone called her from the distance, so she turned around to wave and then looked back at me. Thats when I noticed it. 

"Do you have something you want to share?", I ask, with a smirk. 

"What?".

"You know... how was last night? I mean, after you and Ethan took Grayson's car, and Gray and I left in mine....", I laugh. 

"Umm....?", she laughs confuse. 

"Oh come on! I just noticed your big hickeys on your neck. And I bet you have more", we laugh while walking through the parking lot. "You better cover those if you don't want Sasha to hate you more". 

"Wait.. she hates me?". 

"Sam... its not new information. She likes your boyfriend after all". 

"But do you think she is capable of doing something?". 

"I would keep my eyes open if I was you. But I will try to talk to her again". 

When we entered the hallway, as always everyone stared at us. "How can you manage everyone staring at you". 

"I just ignore it... I guess I got used to it", I wave my hair and Sam rolls her eyes. 

But then, someone else opens the door behind us. It's Sasha, and she is... different. She did her hair differently, she came with two new friends, and she put way more makeup". 

"Sasha?", I ask in shock. 

"Hey bitch...", then she looks at Sam with a disapproval expression. "Have a good day", she says; but before leaving, she turns around and exclaim. "Oh, and prepare for the wrekening... I guess there is a new queen bee at this school. Oh, and Sara... I mean, Sam right? You boyfriend is hot... you better watch out, maybe someone will steal him from you", she laughs and leaves.
