I woke up to Emma shaking me, I guess I was a heavier sleeper than I thought. I slowly got dressed and brushed my teeth and waited for Naomi and others to be ready. We walked out and tossed a football around the open part of the cabin for a little bit until breakfast was ready. Day campers were coming in so we all sat outside on the porch and ate while a bunch of little kids watched us eat through the window... not creepy at all... When we were done we packed up our stuff and dropped it off so it could be ready to put on the bus. I was still kinda sad about not being put into a tent group with Naomi and Madison but we'd figure something out.
Next thing I remember is packing up the chairs and table and then heading to the bus to then pack up food, lots and lots of food, and our bags of course. While Emma and Olivia went and did stuff all of us played the one word story game, telephone, and fortunately unfortunately. Things got pretty wild. I guess. Idk. Then Naomi told us about a thing where one of us would say,
"Can I get an oh yeah?"
And then the rest of us would say,
"Oh yeah!!"
It's more entertaining than it sounds really, depends on how you say it. We were then joking about how when we got on the bus to pretend to sleep and then have Naomi say
"Can I get an oh yeah?"
And then to have all of us to respond really loudly.
We didn't do it though cause we did it when we got on the bus and Olivia said to not do it on the bus... we ended up doing it on the bus for the rest of the trip though.
After a little while later we packed up the bus and piled on. There was four rows of two seats on the drivers side of the bus and then three rows of two seats on the other side. Then there was also a bunch of seats in the way back in one row but that was covered with all our the bags and food and etc, it was basically the leaning tower of Pisa.
I was in the window seat in the back on the non drivers side sitting with Kate. And then I front of us we're Naomi and Madison, and then inform of them was Olivia and a cooler.
Across from us was Anna and Emily and in front of them was Kelvin and Chris, in front of them was Anthony and Joe, then there was Molly and Katelyn. Then finally, was Emma in the drivers seat. Both the radio and CD player were broken so we listen to music through a Bluetooth speaker, it worked, kinda. They played a lot of songs I didn't know, the only one I knew was Despacito, which is kinda sad. And we were off. And then we stopped at Tim Hortons and I got an iced coffee, and everybody ate so much food that I worried there wasn't gonna be enough left for the rest of the trip. Just kidding, I didn't worry. But they did eat A LOT of the snacks. Two garbage bags later one bathroom stop, and four hours, we make it to the dark sky park/campground. We set up tents and unloaded most of the stuff. Emma sent me on an impossible mission to find firewood that wasn't even on the bus like she said, arg. Whatever. We hung out and ate, well they did, I didn't. I was still full from breakfast and snacks honestly. We went swimming at the lake and it was so coooolllldddd. I kinda went in but not very far, people threw sand a lot so some people were covered head to toe in it. Cough cough joe and kelvin cough cough. We headed back to change and then headed to the dark sky park to watch stars.
We got there, and after Emma and Olivia reminded us for the 100th time to stay quiet cause there was other people (we had a bad tendency to be really loud) we laid a blanket out and tried to fit as many people on as we could. I laid next to Kelvin and Naomi and kept stealing his hat, it was a nice hat. We gave Chris and Joe man buns so that was pretty funny, and then we all just sat in our "Gossip Circle" and talked. Nobody paid attention to the stars except a handful of people. Kelvin and I talked a good amount, and I was in danger. That one feeling came upon me again and I just gave in. But I did make a promise to myself, and that was to not tell him first, and to not fall for him, but to make him fall for me first. Little did I know he already had.
We talked for a while more, we as in the gossip circle, about Kate's ex boyfriend and Kelvin's dating life and other drama. We also joked about the picture, nobody except the girls know what we're referring to to this day. Ha.
We went back to the campground and got ready for bed, or as well as we could. It was dark and no sinks. Whatever. People who wanted to talk came into my tent and people who wanted to sleep went into the other. So Naomi and Madison came into mine. It ended up being Madison, Naomi, Kate, Emily, and me. We talked for a little until we saw a huge spider and Kate started screeching so Emily had to kill it. Emma then walked over and came into the tent to tell us to be quiet, the best part is that she didn't even notice naomi was there so we got away with all of us sleeping in one tent. Well, the five of us. Naomi and I talked/typed on her iPod and I told her that I thought Kelvin was cute and she told me how she was afraid Madison would be mad at her. (She ended up leaving afraid we'd get in trouble for having 5 of us that weren't even the same tent group in the tent) There was also lots of "Oh yeahs" that day. Then I fell asleep. Obviously. Only 4 days left :(
