Chapter 11

Cassidy's POV:

"Mikey!"

No response.

"Mikey! You better get your arse down here, otherwise we'll be late for school and I will make sure you don't get any breakfast!" Eric yelled from the bottom of the staircase.

Only to walk away seconds after he heard shuffling from where I suppose is where Mikey had spent the night.

We are currently in the kitchen eating breakfast, I had prepared.

Stacey is eating a peanut-butter and grape jelly sandwich with some chocolate milk. I made eggs with bacon and some hash-brown along with some orange juice and coffee for Eric and I.

Foot steps could be heard rushing down the stairs. In comes a stumbling Mikey panting into the kitchen.

"Okay... I'm here... see Eric... I... made it... just in time..." Mike breath out before collapsing on the floor.

Eric chuckled shaking his head, "Actually Micheal it's," He pauses to look at the clock on the stove reading 6:31 a.m., "6:31 and you were suppose to be down here at 6:30 sharp. So that makes you late and that means no breakfast for you." He said with a satisfied smirk plastered on his face.

Mikey scoffed, "Are you shitting me right now?! Come on man, I'm starving and the food smells so damn good. I'm only one minute past. One freaking minute Eric! Why do you gotta be such a pain in the ass?" He whined.

"Language!" Eric scolded.

"Don't tell me what to do and stop trying change the subject!" He huffed crossing his arms and pouting like a child.

I couldn't help but laugh at how these two were acting. Shaking my head I get another plate from the cabinet and serve eggs, hash brown, and bacon along with some orange juice. Because from what I can tell so far, giving Mikey coffee is not the way to go.

I make my way towards the counter table and place the plate gesturing for Micheal to eat. His eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas before digging in to his food, stuffing his face with whatever he can fit.

Chuckling at his reaction towards food, standing there watching in amusement how he scarfs down his food. "Twank wou Kawside!! Swe Ewik why cwan't wou be like hew!"He says chugging down his orange juice with his mouth full.

"At least I have table manners and don't eat like a pig!" Eric chuckles shaking his head.

"I do so have table manners and I definitely do not eat like a pig!" Mikey snorts.

Eric raises an eyebrow at him, "Mhm sure okay..., at least I can get a girl unlike someone that I know." He turns around to look at Mikey.

"Pfft, me? I can totally get any girl. I mean look at me." He gestured himself up and down.

Eric burst out laughing, "Yeah exactly, who would want to go out with a person that eats like a pig." He retorts

Mike's jaw dropped looking at his cousin in disbelief, "Oi that hurt my heart man, Jesus I got feelings too. I am a homosapiens after all." He pouts.

Eric tilted his head to the side with every inch of amusement dancing upon his face, "Are you, are you really?" He said with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Of course I am!" Mikey scoffed."Otherwise I would be a sexy, handsomely, attractive pig. Am I right Cassidy" He winked.

Oh dear God why do I have to get dragged into this!

"So either way I would be able to get any girl I want." He smirked widely.

Poor Mikey, he really has a high self esteem for himself

Eric glanced at me then back at his cousin giving him the 'are you serious' face.

He dramatically sighs, "You do realize that you just called yourself a pig, just when you had just claimed that you are not one earlier. Am I right?"

Michael sat there blinking while his mouth opens and closes like a fish out of water. After a while it seems like reality had settled in, he just drops his left cheek on one hand squishing that side of his face.

"I did, didn't I," he sighs dramatically "I will still look good either way so it's a win win" he shrugs getting up and walking out of the room sassily.

I smile shaking my head at his sillyness, going towards the counter telling Stacey to go get her stuff and start picking up the plates left on the table. I hear some more movement to my right only to come upon Eric gathering the rest of the plates as well. I dismiss it continuing what I was doing and taking them to the sink to clean them. I turn on the water rolling up my sleeves so they wont get wet and begin washing the dishes.

I'm minding my own business until I feel a presence right behind me. I start to get goosebumps when it comes closer. I pretty much knew who it was but for some odd reason the goosebumps wouldn't go away. I continued scrubbing and rinsing and next thing I know I see an arm grab the plates from my hand. I gasp in surprise and turn around only to see a amused Eric looking down at me.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you." He chuckled. I simply smile a small smile and I can feel my face heating up from my embarrassment. He cleared his throat while fixing his posture leaning against the counter putting a cold serious face. Almost like he had no emotions at all and the only thing you could see in them is darkness..."You do realize that you didn't have to do the dishes, it was Mike's turn to do them today." I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and nodded my head.

"I just wanted to help..." I merely whispered, bowing my head down to my feet. I could feel the tears forming slowly threatening to fall, and it seemed like an eternity as I just stared at the floor until a pair of black timberland boots were standing right in front on my worn out converse.

"Look at me..." He demanded. I jumped slightly and was hesitant whether to look at him or not, so I shook my head 'no'. There was a moment of silence until I just heard him puff out a breathe and said, "That's fine, I guess I'll see you at school then." He turned around and walked away. Not even a minute later, I already hear the door slam and a car zoom out the driveway. I let out a shaky breathe and try to calm myself before I start getting a panic attack.

I make my way to where I was staying at and gather all of my necessities for school , a place where I really don't want to go but somewhere I have  to go. Since Mikey and Stacey have already left for school and Eric stormed out as well, I am left in the house getting my stuff ready. I make sure to lock the door with the spare key and put it back where I found it. I start making my way down the block as I start to get familiar with the streets. I used to walk to school every single day so I am used to it, especially since my mother passed away... I figured out that they don't live that far from school, even though its still quite a walk. I didn't mind though. Right before I knew it I was standing right in front of it...

"Back in Hell..." I mumbled as I took a deep breathe and walked in the double doors. I just hope this day goes by fast...
