1 Week Later:

Ava looked at her reflection and couldn't help but smile, she was beginning to show more and more. It was more obvious she was pregnant and not just gaining some weight. Since her clothes where getting a bit tight Xiumin leant her some of his shirts and sweat pants. She left the bedroom and decided to look around the house, ever since they had gotten to the house she never had a chance to look around by herself. Xiumin was always there, but Ava knew it was because he was paranoid especially with her being so far along. As Ava walked down the hall she pushed open a door and smiled as she looked at the dusty posters that hung on the wall as well as all the action figures and books. "So this is your room," she tells herself as she picks up a dusty family portrait of the Kim Family. Xiumin sure hadn't changed, he did get taller, leaner, but he still had the same causal style and glasses from when he was a kid. Ava placed the picture down and although she knew it was wrong she began rummaging through his things. Technically, there wasn't much, Xiumin took his important things when he left and only left behind the replaceable objects. 

After looking in the half empty closet and all the drawers Ava took a seat on the oldish bed and took a deep breath. She was about to leave when something caught her eye that was underneath the bed. Although she wasn't supposed to she got on her hands and knees and saw a picture and then a box. She placed the picture on the bed then pulled the box out. There she found a old camera from the 90's, that almost all families had, and more baby photos. She smiled to herself and carried the box out to the livingroom, once she placed the box down she first went for the camera. Her once happy mood crumbled when the camera didn't turn on instead it was dead. She sighed putting it to the side and then pulled out photo after photo looking at the young Minseok and Xiumin. They where smiling and playing with each other, from the pictures you would think they grew up normal and their bond only cemented. Ava came to a larger photo and gulped as she took in a neutral Minseok with a smiling woman next to him dressed in white. Ava remembered her, Yuri his wife, as she looked over the photo she could see the darkness in Minseok's eyes but also a reflection of sadness in Yuri's. 

"What are you doing with those?" said Xiumin as he placed bags down on the floor, his voice caused Ava to jump and drop the image it sliding underneath the sofa. "Can't you say 'Hello'! You scared me!" Ava says and takes a deep breath again. "I'm sorry, but why are those out?" Xiumin says and she can sense the unsettling feeling in his voice. "I..they where in your room," she says and places the images back as Xiumin just stairs. "I'm sorry," she tells him and begins to carry the box back only for Xiumin to wrestle it away, "You carried this!" he tells her as he disappears into his room and then slamming the door. "Well I am the only one here," Ava says standing in the hall as Xiumin approaches her, "You shouldn't be lifting anything! What if you hurt yourself or the baby?!" he tells her sounding like a parent angry at their child. "There just pictures, I am fine, we are fine," Ava says calmly but uncomfortable with how angry Xiumin is coming off. "Exactly! I don't know why you brought them out in the first place!" he says again and walks past her taking the groceries he had bought to the kitchen. "I was just distracting myself, why are you so mad?" she asks following him. He places the groceries harshly on the wooden table, Ava startled again she places her hands on her stomach, "You had no business snooping around! This isn't your house!" he yells at her and she gulps and looks down. "I said I was sorry," she says softly and looks up, "You keep bringing up my past and reminding me of it! It's annoying Ava!" Ava confusedly looks at him and tries approaching but he distances himself from her, "All because I was looking through pictures? I'm confused! I have never even mentioned your past!" she tells him with frustration in her voice. "It's the baby!" he says yelling the last part and Ava looks to her stomach and back at him with hurt in her eyes. "You told me you didn't care if the father was Minseok," she says and Xiumin leaves out the back door. 

Ava feels her stomach getting upset and she quickly makes it to the room where she sits on the bed and tries and not cry. She remembered that if she was upset it would effect her child. She heads to the closet where she pulls her backpack out and begins to pack all her belongings into it. When she goes back out to the livingroom she sees the camera and stuffs it into her backpack. She was about to head back into the room when she hears the door close, she turns around and Xiumin is standing there looking sad. "I'm sorry Ava! I didn't mean to say all those things back there!-" Ava cuts his apology off and looks at him fearfully. "I want to go back home! I don't want you around me anymore!" she says and his eyes widen, "Ava please! Just hear me out!-" she cuts him off again and shakes her head. "The last time I felt that scared was when Minseok was around," she says and Xiumin's face drains of color. "I am nothing like him! Ava I would never hurt you!" he says and tries approaching her but she steps backwards, "Stop! Just stop! I thought we could be a we, but if this baby is only going to make you a monster then I would rather be by myself. I want to go home to Baekhyun!" she says and looks down as a tear trickles down her cheek. "What if Minseok finds you, Ava that's not what I meant! It's just seeing those pictures made me angry that not only was my family a mess but I lost my brother!" he says and quickly strides over to her where he tries pulling her into a hug. "If you can't accept your past and present, I can't have you around us," Ava says and separates herself from him feeling the pain in her heart. "I want to go home, I want Baekhyun!" she says again and Xiumin bites his lip not wanting to agree, "Ava I care about you and the baby! I really do!" he manages to say again. Ava's breathing gets sharper and she feels dizzy, Xiumin rushes to her as she drops into his arms unconscious.
