you were normally chilling at home, laying on the couch and eating snacks while watching your favorite show when you suddenly heard a loud buzz coming from your phone, signaling that you had just received a text. as much as you hated getting up, you had to get up and grab your phone. you unlocked it and checked who it was to see that it was none other than your brother jinho. you clicked it open and started reading.

TODAY AT 12:44 PM

JINHO💌: hey y/n! the boys and i just finished practicing and we thought it'd be a good idea if you came and brought food with you because we're starving😅

you chuckled a little as you texted him back with an 'okay' before putting your phone back to where it was and went to your room to get ready so you wouldn't be late for the ten starving boys as you knew how tired and hungry they were. once you made sure you looked presentable enough you took your purse and got out.

you stopped by a restaurant nearby which was the boys' favorite. you stepped in and the waiter immediately took notice of you. since you went there frequently because of the boys and also because you were jinho's little sister. you also happened to make friendships with most of the workers there.

"hello y/n! how are you today? you want the usual?" one of them cheerfully greeted you.

"i'm fine and yes, the usual ramen for the boys and me." you greeted back as you took a seat and waited for the order. it didn't take long when the order was done. you thanked them and took the food before heading to the boys' dorm.

a few minutes later you finally reached the dorm with two big bags of food for the hungry boys. you put them down on the ground before ringing the doorbell and waiting for the boys to open. you heard some footsteps coming from the other side and was immediately greeted by hyojong. once your eyes met, your heart couldn't stop beating so fast. you've always felt like that whenever you were around him, simply because you had a crush on him for the longest time but thought confessing to him would be weird because you thought he only saw you as a little sister. you cherished him deeply and losing him was the last thing you wanted to happen so you kept it all for yourself.

"hello y/n, it's always nice seeing you." hyojong complimented, his eyes were still on yours. you could feel a tint of pink try to make its way on your cheeks, you tried so hard covering it but you knew he noticed it because he chuckled a little saying you look cute when you blush which of course, made you blush even more.

then a wave of comfortable silence hit the atmosphere that didn't last long before he realized that he still hadn't let you in yet.

"oh my god i'm so sorry for keeping you on the door. and here let me hold some for you." he quickly apologized as he took a bag from you and motioning for you to come in. you thanked him before stepping in.

"hey guys, y/n came with the food." he shouted loudly so the other boys could hear him. with that being said, you heard the other boys cheer and whistle for you as they saw you and hyojong walk in with the food in your hands.

"ah finally i'm starving." hongseok said as the others agreed with him.
you chuckled at his statement before taking the food out of the bags and gave it to the boys. once you were done with the food you took yourself a packet of ramen and seated yourself between jinho and yuto.

after finishing the food all of you sat down on the couch, you were seated between kino and hongseok. all of you laughing and making jokes but hyojong.

he was eyeing you the whole time, watching you laugh around with the other members. it was as if his heart was burning with jealousy.

the whole time you tried avoiding hyojong because you were embarrassed of what happened earlier. but little did you know that he thought you were ignoring him. all of you stopped joking around when you saw hyojong standing up and leaving with an intense look on his face. you called for him multiple times but he didn't reply nor look back.

"what's wrong with hyojong hyung?" wooseok questioned as the others shook their head.

"i think it's because of y/n. i don't know why though but i noticed that he was looking at her the whole time." hwitaek said as the others looked at you with confused looks on their faces.

"m-me? but i didn't do anything i swear." you said, defending yourself. you recalled everything that had happened from the moment you walked in but didn't find anything.

"then go talk to him and find out why he left. i'm sure he'll tell you." jinho said as he pushed you to where he went. you slowly made your way to him with a heavy heart and a worried look on your face.

once you were a few inches away from him you saw him standing there, his back was facing you and his hands were resting on his sifes, clutching. you softly tapped on his shoulder as he slowly turned his head to face you. he could clearly see the worried look you had on your face.

"hyojong, what's wrong?" your voice came out as a little whisper but was still audible for hyojong. your voice was full of concern, scared that you might've done something that made him mad at you.

"it's just that.. i was actually jealous of how you spend more time with the other members and not me and not getting any attention from you at all. i always tried to hide it and it worked but for the first time i failed today. maybe because i saw how you were avoiding me the whole time, i couldn't handle it any longer so that's why i stormed out. you know, for some reasons i feel like i should be the one you give your attention to the most, the one you laugh with the hardest, the one you go to whether you're excited, sad or even bored. i'm not even sure why i felt that way, but one thing i'm sure of is that i love you." he said before catching his breath from talking. meanwhile you were just standing there, completely shocked from what hyojong said. you never thought he'd feel the same way for you. you couldn't believe that your longtime crush had just confessed his feelings to you.

"hyojong i'm so sorry for avoiding you but that was only because of what happened earlier, i was actually embarrassed but i didn't realize that i was hurting you in the process. but there's one thing i want you to know which is–" you stepped closer to him, leaving almost no space between the two of you. you felt your heart beat rapidly as your eyes met, cupping his cheeks in your hands.

"i love you too, hyojong." you finally admitted it, feeling as if a huge weight was just lifted off your shoulders. you watched as a huge beam appeared on his face before pulling you into a hug.

you gladly hugged him back, feeling his warm body against yours was the best feeling you've ever felt. you rested your hands on his neck as his hands were perfectly placed around your body. you wanted time to stop at this exact moment and stay like that forever.
