~~~Chapter Nine: Monster~~~
YOUR POV:
The first thing I noticed, was that I was sitting on a chair, shivering from the cold. Before I even opened my eyes, I felt something restricting the movement of my arms and legs. Turns out, I was bound to the metallic chair I sat in, bound by chains. My mouth was gagged by a hard material, making it hard to speak. The room I was in was dark, and hard to see what was around me. As my eyes adjusted to the dark, I was in a room that used to be a......ballroom?
I sat in the middle of the entire room, strapped onto the chair. Looking around, there were numerous amount of windows, but it was all covered by wooden planks, stacked onto each other and held by rusted nails. The only light provided was the light from between the cracks of the wooden planks. The marble floor was covered by dirt and broken shards of glass, which originally came from the mirrors. The once beautiful chandeliers were now laying on the ground, shattered and all broken.
As I was looking around, confused about why I was here, something flashed in my head.
......By the time I touched his shoulder, the man turned around. I saw a familiar pair of red eyes that looked at me. Before I could even gasp, the man had suddenly brought his hand out and black smoke had emitted from his hand. I felt myself fall onto him, feeling the cup of coffee slip out of my hands. The sound of it hitting the ground never made it to my ears because I had passed out.....
I felt a shiver go down my back, as I remembered the person who had red eyes was not a human, but a demon. Heartbeat increasing, I struggled with my restraints. But no matter the amount of effort, I couldn't get out.
What seemed like hours has passed, and the light that came through the cracks of the window had long since been gone. There was no source of light, until I saw a light that came through the door of the entire room. Hearing the sound of footsteps, I squinted my eyes to see the one I had dreaded to see most. The demon that I met had walked up till he was a step away from me.
"Had a nice sleep??" The demon asked, smirking down at me.
Eyes tearing up I gave a muffled reply of "let me go!". Still smirking at me, the demon crouched down until he was eye level with me. His crimson eyes stared into my brown ones, and brought the back of his hand to stroked my cheeks softly. I shivered from his touch, and looked at him. This demon had a pale face, and his eyes seemed to change into different shades of red every second. It looked like a hungry animal staring at a peace of meat.
"Let me take off that gag hmm?" He said, removing the rough material from my mouth.
"Let me go demon!" I yelled as soon as the gag came off.
"I may be a demon, but I have a name you know," he told me. "It's Markus"
Still glaring at him, he continued talking.
" And why would I let you go?" Markus asked, chuckling. "I just found the best food offering for everyone"
Looking at him weirdly, he just looked back at me, expecting a reaction. Until realization hit him.
".....unbelievable.......they haven't told you anything!" The demon cried out, standing up to hold his stomach and laugh.
"...who's they?" I asked.
Wiping the tears off his eyes, Markus looked down at me.
"The group of boys you've been hanging out with......the princes of demons" he answered, smirking.
Eyes opening widely, I stared at Markus, only to shut them tightly as an attempt to block out what he was going to say next.
"I was looking around the city to find some humans to eat, until I saw one of the princes. I then followed him to a building, where you came out with him later. Soon, you met another six of the princes. I thought that since the princes of hell had a human with them, it must be the tastiest food ever!" Markus exclaimed, holding his arms up.
