~~~Chapter Ten: ~~~
Your POV:
The first thing I noticed was that I laid on something that was really comfortable. The next thing I realized was that I have woken up to find myself in my own bedroom. I quickly sat up, wanting to get ready to go out the house. Somehow, I had an empty feeling, which was heavily weighing on my chest. Staring up at the wall, I remembered what accident had taken place.
Placing my hands at the sides of my head, I shut my eyes tightly and curled up into a ball. I suddenly remembered how their eyes had started to glow red, and how their actions were so monster-like. Slowly, I opened my eyes to see my injuries that were once on my skin to be gone, as if it was never there the first place. But I know that it had been there, since I was wearing the same clothes that day. Changing out of my current clothes, I quickly put on an oversized t-shirt and a pair of shorts, tucking myself back into my bed. Rolling onto my side, I brought the blanket up to cover half of my face, going back to sleep. Little did I know, I felt something wet fall from my eye....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Normal POV:
It has been at least three days since you last came out from your bedroom. Both your parents were worried about you since you suddenly disappeared, only to come back the next day. They weren't too worried about what had happened, and seemed to think that you stayed over at a friend's place. They also thought that the reason why you had not come out of you room was because of a fight you had with that friend. Both your parents knew that if you needed to tell them something important, then they'd listen. They trusted you to handle problems yourself, and ask them for guidance if you were stuck.
On the fourth day, they were not surprised to see you come out of your room, to walk into the kitchen as if nothing had happened.
"Everything alright dear?" Mom asked.
Nodding your head as you put a toast in mouth, heading to the doorway with a small bag with you. As you reached the end of the pavement of your house, you heard something behind you.
"Where are you going?" dad asked, flanked with mom at the doorway.
"I'm going out for a while, be back later!" You told your parents, running out to the gates.
Your POV:
I had stayed in the same room for more than 48 hours, and it could really make someone feel even worse than they have been feeling. Thoughts of them had always invaded me, making me think of many questions.
Are they looking for me right at this moment?
Am I safe from them?
How much longer do I need to wait in fear and uneasiness till they find me?
Many things had been running through my head, and I can't help but feel paranoid to my surroundings. At the slightest sound of leaves being blown by the wind, I jump. While walking along the streets, I rubbed my hands to bring warmth to them. As I walked along the streets, I noticed how I was right before the park that Luhan was planning to go to when we were going to the coffee shop instead.
Taking steps to make my way into this area, I sat onto a bench that was at the end of the park. This particular seat made it possible for me to see almost everyone here. There were many of them: families, friends, and couples. As I was looking at a person walking his dog, I sighed, rubbing my neck. It was around noon, and the wind was already starting to pick up. I leaned back on the bench, looking up to see the dark blue sky filled with birds. As I looked at the many birds, my hands were placed in my pockets, relaxed.
*coming here was a good idea to clear my thoughts and relax* I thought silently.
I had been sitting on the bench for about 10 minutes, only to see something in front of me. Looking up in surprise, my mouth had opened to speak, but it was covered roughly.
"Don't say anything, you pathetic little human...." A hoarse voice sounded out.
Alarmed, I suddenly thought how the person before me wasn't human......Eyes widening, I frantically looked around to see if anyone saw what was happening, and tried to look for help. But, it seems as if they can't see what's happening at all.
"Other humans can't see you.....we're....invisible to them, you see. Thanks to a little spell I learned" the man said, chuckling. He then continued to speak. "Life would have been normal for you, but you just had to get some other people kill my men" he growled out, eyes glowing red. "The entire ballroom had the scent of their blood.....and yours"
All of a sudden, I had realized how this man might've been with the other C Classes from yesterday. Struggling to get out of his grip, I started to thrash out, kicking and punching him. I did anything I could to get his grip off me.
But it was useless.
The demon only stood there, smirking at me. He then brought his hand down towards my neck, roughly holding me in place and suffocating me at the same time. Surprised at his sudden action, I gasped out to breathe in air as I clawed his arms. As I heard him laugh, his grip on my neck became tighter, and everything had started to become foggy.........
