Clarence pushed passed through the crowd of teenagers as she tried to make it to her locker. She was let out of her previous class late, and the lack of sleep she got just made it worse.

"Look who it is." A fake laugh was heard behind Clarence as she just was able to touch her locker. Clarence spun the locker to open her locker as she felt her frustration rise.

"Go away, Laura." She mumbled as she pulled books from her locker.

"Excuse me?" She slammed Clarence's locker close causing Clarence to flinch, "Don't forget who you are talking to."

Clarence gripped her books out of anger, "How could I? No one else here could have a voice that fake!"

"At least I'm not a piece of shit!" She screeched causing students to look towards them and teachers to give them a glance.

"You know what your problem is? You see me as...as competition or a threat when guess what? I will never even want to be like you! You are just a spoiled girl who doesn't realize what really matters! Because this," She motioned towards Laura's expensive, short dress, "is not what matters."

"You are just a jealous bitch!" She yelled at her.

"Jealous of what? You are just a cruel, cruel girl who bullies me, because I'm weak. Well I'm not going to be the fragile, weak girl anymore. I'm not going to be broken by you, or...anyone ever again." Clarence turned away from Laura, and started to move pass the crowd that was looking at their fight, yet Laura wasn't done.

"Where the fuck do you think you are going?" She gripped her arm, and pulled her back.

"Where the fuck do you think you are going?" He screamed, grabbing her arm and pulling up from the floor where she tried to crawl away.

"No! Don't touch me!" Tears started to fill her eyes as she pulled away from Laura's touch.

"Hey! Break it up, ladies!" A teacher Clarence didn't recognize started to shove through the students. The students scattered across the hallway as the teacher glared at the two.

Laura just glared at Clarence before shoving her to the floor. Clarence opened her mouth, but the teacher beat her to it.

"Both of you to the office now!" He yelled towards them as he pointed to the direction of the office. Clarence slowly made her way off the ground with her books. She slowly walked to the office as Laura stayed next to the teacher making excuses about it not being her fault.

When she entered the office, it was filled with a scent of lilac. She smiled slightly before sitting down.

"Excuse me, why are you here?" An old lady asked. Before Clarence could open her mouth, Laura was walking in yelling with Justin as the teacher tried to calm them both.

"Why can't you just leave her alone?" Justin yelled towards Laura who just scuffled.

"Why can't you just mind your own business?" Laura shot back which caused Justin's glare to worsen. If looks could kill, Justin would definitely be charged for murder.

"She is my business!" He yelled louder.

"Hey, Justin." Clarence whispered, but Justin heard her. Justin always heard her.

"Clarence!" He smiled, and walked towards her. His glare, and coldness was replaced with a smile, and warmth.

"Keep it in your pants." Laura spat at them. As Justin was about to open his mouth, the principles door opened.

"In my office now." The principle stepped out of his office with the teacher from earlier next to him, "All three of you."

Clarence sighed, and made her way into the office with Justin holding her hand. The three sat in the chairs in front of his office. His office was small and looked to be out of a catalog.

"Now, who would like to tell me what happened?" The principle, Mr. Williams, asked.

That's when all hell broke loose. Laura would say something then Justin would yell causing Mr. Williams to yell. Then Clarence would have to calm Justin, but the cycle would just repeat for about five minutes, until Mr. Williams realize nothing could be done like this.

"Laura, wait outside." His voice was tired as he rubbed his bold head.

"What? If anyone should-"

"Do as I say, or you will be in more trouble!" He raised his voice causing Laura to quickly rush out.

"Now, Clarence, what happen?" He leaned back in his chair, and folded his hands across his stomach.

"I was at my locker, and she started to pick on me, again. So, I told her to leave me alone, but she kept saying insults till I tried to walk away then..." Clarence's voice vanished as she started thinking of the memory.

"Come on, Clare." Justin gave her a smile, and squeezed her hand.

"She grabbed my arm, and threw me to the ground." Clarence's voice was soft and quiet, yet Mr. Williams could hear every word.

"I am sorry Laura acted like that. I know that must be hard when you look at your past. How have you been coping?" Justin gave Clarence a confused look as Mr. Williams seemed to have forgotten the original reason for being here.

"I-I..." She looked between Justin, and the principle.

"Justin, would you leave us alone for a minute?" Justin opened his mouth to refuse, but the look Clarence gave him made him agree. When the door shut, Clarence sighed.

"So how are you, Clarence?" His voice was as gentle as when they first met.

"I don't know." She whispered as she hugged her legs to her chest.

"You didn't go to the therapy sessions at all, did you?" His voice showed his disappointment.

"I tried, but they don't help." Clarence started to pull on her sleeves.

"When you're in LA, please give it another chance." He leaned forwards in his chair, "Please."

"I don't think I want to." Clarence's voice was weak as she leaned her forehead on her knees.

"You don't have to leave then, Clarence. I'm sure Matthew would not be heartbroken if you said no." He gave her a smile with a slight laugh.

"We can only hope so." Clarence gave him a weak smile as he shook his head with a frown.

"Clarence, I know you wouldn't believe it, but you are not destined to be unhappy."

"Let's finish the story before you make such claims."
