The Cat and The Bug

Adrien POV

Adrien was sitting on his bed as happy as he could be.

"Tikki! I made 3 new friends today! 3!"

" Thats wonderful, Adrien!" Tikki replied like she hadn't been there to witness all of it.

"there's Nino, Alya, Marinette-" While Adrien rambled on, Tikki thought, that girl- Marinette-She's Kitty Noir! That stinky smell of Camembert gave it away. Wonder how Plagg's doing.

"Adrien, stop talking and get your homework done. You know Miss Bustier doesn't like late homework!"

"You're right Tikki. I just got distracted."

Adrien was finishing his book report on The Little Prince when he heard a big crash. he ran to his window only to see a girl in  purple, pink, and white dress with a pink journal and purple star in the middle. as she wrote, things started disappearing and reappearing with names and signs that weren't there before. almost as if she was re-writing what they said. 

"Its an Akuma!"  Tikki exclaimed.

"Akuma?" Adrien questioned.

"Remember everything I told you?"

"oh. yeah. Akuma. Tikki, Spots On!"

A sequence of reds appeared and swirled around him until he was the masked bug superhero. 

Adrien swung his yo-yo and jumped roof to roof to the Akuma. the cat had already beat him.

She dodged a blast from the Akuma. "Where where you, Bugster?" 

she was still incredibly cute. "do I have to tell you everything, Kitty?" he jokingly replied.

"we are partners- Look out!"

Kitty Noir's baton flew inches from his face to block him from a blast. it boomeranged backed to her and she caught it.

" Thanks for the save," Adrien said. 

"thank me later. Follow my lead!"

Kitty Noir ran up the wall and around it. Adrien did the same on a opposite wall.

"You'll never get me!" the akuma, Rewriter, shouted.

They jumped for her and she smoothly bounced out of the way, making the partners barley miss each other.

"Plan B?" Adrien said, hoping the cat thought up a backup plan before this.

"Well, um, thinking..." Kitty Noir said.

"Hmmm. let's see. Kitty Noir, you would have never gotten a baton!" Rewriter hissed. she cackled evily as a star shaped beam flew from the center of her journal towards Kitty Noir. 

"Look out, Kitty!" Adrien screamed. The cat tried to dodge but it was too late.

the instant it hit her the baton in Kitty Noir's hands disappeared. Adrien ran over to her. 

"Are you ok?" the concerned boy asked.

"Fine." the masked girl replied.

"where's your baton?"

"What baton?"

Rewriter smiled. "Now we can have some real fun!" she laughed. she ran towards them and started throwing punches. Adrien and Kitty Noir dodged them.

Ok, so, Kitty lost her baton, so its all up to me. Adrien thought. oh boy. wait. my super power. what was it? he dodged another attack. umm... oh yeah! lucky yo-yo! lets try that.

He dodged another blast. and stood strait up. he threw his yoyo in the air and screamed, "Lucky Yo-yo!" 

Nothing happened. Kitty Noir slapped her palm on her forehead. 

"Seriously, Ladybug?" Kitty Noir said. " Try and think of the correct words while I distract Rewriter." 

ok, ok, think Adrien! what are those words! what did Tikki say? it was lucky something. Lucky Bracelet? Necklace? Earrings? umm... ladybug? think! think!

while Adrien was desperately trying to figure out the words, Kitty Noir was planing.

She dodged another attack and ran up to a message board.

"Cataclysm!" she called, making magic black dots hover around her gloved hand. she swiped the message board and it's pieces fell freely onto Rewriter. 

"Charm! Lucky Charm!" Adrien exclaimed as Rewriter was recovering from the message board.
