MARINETTE POV

finally! Ladybug figured out the words! Marinette thought. She was still in her Kitty Noir suit and in the middle of battle.

Swirls of red went strait up in the air along with his yoyo. when the swirls ceased, a handheld mirror was in Ladybug's hand. it had the signature ladybug pattern on it.

"A Mirror!" Mari said, slightly frustrated.

"I can't control what I get!" Ladybug shot back.

"This better provide a mirror-cle..."  Mari punned.

"There's got to be something to it," Ladybug said, rolling his eyes at her joke.

"well you better hurry up, I have 4 minutes left."

they heard a evil cackle behind them. And then a beam shot directly between them.

"forgot about me, didn't you?" Rewriter snickered. Another beam shot at them. Ladybug tucked the mirror in the string holding his yoyo. They ran around, making Rewriter confused and shoot aimlessly.  a purple symbol shaped like a butterfly showed up on her face. it seemed to be telling her something.

Almost like she's been taken over!  Marinette thought.

Another horrifying laugh came from Rewriter's mouth.  

"From now on, your weapons will no longer work!" She yelled aggressively, desperate to win.

A beam came from her notebook strait words ladybug.

"Ladybug, LOOK OUT!!!" Worried Mari exclaimed.

Ladybug, at the last second, held out the mirror reflecting the beam strait towards Rewriter. the beam came so fast at her she didn't have time to dodge. It hit Rewriter, sending her aback, but not too hard.

"Haha! I'm still fine! From now on, you will be forced to give me your miraculous!" Rewriter hissed. A spark came from her journal, but nothing more. 

"you lost your  weapon. sucks for you, your powerless now. Kitty go ahead and-"

"don't have to tell me twice!" Mari put a silly grin on her face.

Marinette ran to a nearby fire rope and tied Rewriter up.

"NOOOOO!" Rewriter tried to get out but that rope was thick.

Beep! Beep! Beep!!! their miraculous warned.

"OK Buggy, let's wrap this up, you have 3 minutes and I have 2." Mari said, looking at her ring.

"I know i've got to brake the object where the Akuma is hiding." Ladybug said back.

"bet it's her journal. thats where her powers came from."

"Good thinking, Kitty!"

"May I?"

Ladybug nodded as Marinette ran up to the journal and tore it in half.

One second later, a black butterfly started flying away. 

"time to de-evllise!" he shouted in the most feminine way, which was almost kind of cute.

he captured the akuma, purified it, and set it free.

"Where am I?" Rewriter- no- Melody asked.

"Hey you wanna do a secret hand shake or something? like after we defeat the akuma!" Mari said.

"I think a fist bump sounds good." Ladybug smiled.

"Pound It!" the pair said in unison as their fists collided.

Suddenly there was a loud and obnoxious beeping.

"AHHHH! MAH RING GOTTA SPLIT SEE YA!" Mari exclamed running behind the nearest building.

she de-transformed as soon as her back hit the wall. she let out a relived sigh. 

"Mari. me. need. camembert." Plagg said desperately.

"Plagg, you're not that tired, you're still floating." Mari said looking at him.

"Still. need. cheese."

She rolled her eyes and gave him two chunks of cheese so he could shut it.

"DANG! I cannot figure out the words to repair the city!" she heard a familiar voice exclaim.

Look like some ladybug needs our help. Plagg's eating though. So i'll go as  Marinette!" Mari thought.

"Plagg, come on!" Mari called, peaking over the corner of the building.

"what are you doing?" he asked as he slipped in Mari's pocket.

"helping a friend."

Mari walked up to the spotted superhero.

"Marinette? what are you doing out here?" Ladybug said.

"Nothin' bugster. and you?" Mari replied.

"trying to figure out the words-"

" try Miraculous Ladybug."

He shrugged and yelled the words while throwing up the mirror, and magic started spreading around and fixing everything.

"So freakin' cool!" Mari said. "looks like I do your job better than you do!"

"About that... how'd you know?" confused ladybug asked.

"It felt right, almost as if I was ladybug myself, in another life. but that's impossible."
