hyunwoo hadn't seen the other boy in what he felt were weeks. he would go check if minhyuk was there every single day, but he never met him.

after a while, he had finally seen the boy. he was sitting on the usual street, wearing his usual work clothing, but there was one unusual thing about him; his cheeks were stained with tears and mascara, his hair was a complete mess.

people didn't seem to notice and continued acting the same to the male as they always would. the boy's eyes glistened as his sockets would fill up with tears once again every couple minutes.

he wanted to approach minhyuk, but he didn't know how. eventually, he just stepped closer, crouched down and hugged the boy, allowing him to let out all his frustrations on his shoulder.

the curious part of him wanted to ask the boy what happened, but he knew it wasn't his place and he didn't want to upset the blonde any further.

after a while of them simply holding eachother and finding comfort in the other's presence, minhyuk snuggled his face further into the crook of hyunwoo's neck. hesitantly, he whispered "let's run away" to the other male. "let's run away from this shitty world, from all the pain and hurting, the unfairness and problems, hyunwoo." the boy had breathed out, on the verge of crying.

the taller male could do nothing more than nod and hug his love tighter.

and they were willing to sacrifice their normal lives to be happy with the other.
