First Love - A Greyson Chance Love Story

Chapter 25

     When I got home, I ran up my room leaving drips of water on the floor. I ran fast so mom can't see my red eyes and nose.

      "Sophie? Sophie! What's the problem, baby?" Mom said but I didn't answer. Instead, I just locked myself in my room. 

     I took a super quick shower and rested. This day's just so long and lonely. 

     I tried to sleep but I can't. Greyson texted saying "I'm sorry, Soph. I love you. So much." I didn't reply instead I just forced myself to sleep.

     Friday. Madge and Penelope talked to me. I told everything to them. I told them everything I feel which made me cry a bit. 

     "Don't say that it's wrong to be jealous. Sophie, you are a teenager. You fall in love, you trip and get hurt, you have feelings. That's normal. Cheer up, Soph!" Madge said as she hugs me. 

     "To cheer you up, let's go to the coffe shop later shall we? Or maybe buy a book? (:" Penelope said.

     I swear I have the bestest friends ever! I don't know what to do without them. 

     At Biology class, I was staring out of nowhere. Nadine went by my chair and patted my shoulders. 

     "Hey, Soph. I just noticed that you are lonely. In the end, everything will ba alright. If something's not okay, it's not yet the end so cheer up!"

     Me and Nadine aren't really that close but this is too sweet! 

     "Thank you, Nadine. That's too nice of you."

     "Here's a book. It's already yours. Keep it (:" She handed me a John Green book entitled "Looking For Alaska".

     "Nadine, no need really. That's yours." 

     "It's okay, Soph. I know you like books and maybe I'll give that as a gift since your birthday is coming. Hahahah! Cheer up, okay?"

     "Thanks, Nadine! Thank you so much."

     "Sure thing. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here." 

     I hugged her. 

     I didn't know that my loneliness is kinda obvious. Greyson's in the same class so I need to pretend that nothing's wrong. 

     After school, Madge, Penelope and I went to the coffee shop since it's my favorite place. Their chocolate cake is just my all-time fave!!! When we arrived there, Madge and Penelope sat and I volunteered to order our food in the counter. Maybe I'll order a doughnut since I don't have enough money to buy my fave cake.

     I went to the counter and ordered frappe and doughnuts for the three of us. When I came back, Greyson was there holding a whole chocolate cake with a message on it saying "I'm sorry, Soph!". He also gave me a bouquet of flowers. He took me to another table so that we could talk privately.

     "I'm sorry, Sophie. I swear, I didn't like the kiss. It was her who did it." Greyson said. "Your lips are better." He whispered but since i have a loud sense of hearing, I heard it. 

     The song "Falling In Love In A Coffee Shop" by Landon Pigg starts playing in the cafe. 

     "Yes, I forgive you Greyson." I just can't resist this adorable guy. "Thank you for the effort in buying these. Thank you." 

     He hugged me. It felt great, as always.
