Chapter 1: Lose your mind

I OWN NOTHING!

Percy P.O.V.

My name is Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, god of the sea, savior of Olympus and what not.

I looked at Annabeth, my beautiful girlfriend. We had just gotten out of Tarturaus and we, plus the rest of the seven, were on our way to Athens to defeat Mother Earth.

You know four years ago I never thought I'd EVER have to say that.

"Perseus Jackson!"

Great what did I do this time.

I turned around to see a furious Piper glaring daggers at me. I paled

I know what your thinking. Why should I be afraid of a girl. To those people I say I have complete reason to be!

"Percy will you please tell me WHY all the guys think they are dolphins?" She yelled.

Right I almost forgot about that.

Annabeth turned on me. "You did WHAT?"

I held up my hands in defeat. "I didn't think the trick would work!"

I remembered last night.

Flashback

I was sitting in the living room with the guys who just so happened to be asleep. What an opportunity.

I got my recorder out. Yes I know old fashioned but trust me it payed off.

You see for the past two weeks I have been recording Piper when she used charm speak.

I plugged in my ear plugs and pressed play. I didn't need to hear it to know what it said.

I just messed around with the sentences and got this.

"BOYS WHEN I SNAP MY FINGERS YOU WILL THINK YOU ARE DOLPHINS! WHEN I SAY, AND ONLY WHEN I, PIPER, SAY PERCY IS AWESOME YOU WILL BE NORMAL!"

Yes it is cruel but I didn't think it was going to work. I took out my ear plugs and walked away.

End of Flashback

Piper POV

I had walked into the living room to find Jason, Frank, and Leo talking.

"Well look who's awake!" I said.

"What? How long were we asleep?" Frank asked apparently confused.

I sighed a muttered "Five hours."

"WHAT!" said Jason and Frank at the same time. Leo was staring off into space.

"Leo?" I said he didn't look at me.

I snapped my fingers in front of his
face which was a big mistake.

Immediately all of them sat up straight and started making...dolphin noises?

I knew this could only be the work of a sinister evil master mind.

"Perseus Jackson!"

Annabeth POV

I looked at Percy as we made are way to the living room to stop the deranged dolphins.

"Dolphins Percy? DOLPHINS?" piper exclaimed.

"How in the name of Hades," I asked, "did you make them think they were dolphins?"

Instead of answering he put on ear phones and pulled out...a recorder?

He pressed play and a message in Piper's voice played although it was made out of different words from different sentences.

"BOYS WHEN I SNAP MY FINGERS YOU WILL THINK YOU ARE DOLPHINS! WHEN I SAY, AND ONLY WHEN I, PIPER, SAY PERCY IS AWESOME YOU WILL BE NORMAL!"

I sighed. Percy was such a seaweed brain but then again I have to admit that I was impressed.

Percy took out the ear plugs and smiled at Piper.

"The cure for dolphinitis is found!" Percy yelled, "Only you, Lady Piper can save Sir Jason, Praetor Frank, and Princess Leo!" He then ran into the living room, an angry Piper following.

When I walked in it looked like all Hades broke loose. Jason was flopping on the floor (maybe from lack of water). Leo and Frank were doing backflips like they expected a dolphin treat.

Piper sighed and forced herself to say "Percy is...a-awesome."

Saying the guys looked confused was an understatement.

Jason was lying on the floor on his stomach and Leo was laughing at Frank, who happened to be in the middle of a backflip when he returned to normal.

Because he had lost his amazing fishy flipping powers he face planted when he landed.

"PERCY!" they all yelled.

Percy splashed them with water and ran.

We found him later on deck fighting all three of them at the same time. Miraculously, Percy was WINNING!

He wasn't even breaking a sweat while the others were struggling to avoid his lightning fast sword.

And that's why Percy had gained reputation as our leader. He was, and I hate to say this, but he was the best fighter out of all of us.

He was even better than me. None of us know how he got so good but I noticed I would always feel sluggish when I spared with him.

Percy POV

The others always wonder how I got so good. The truth is it was because of my father.

You see I just concentrate on their blood, which is a liquid, and made it pump slower.

Not enough to make them pass out. That would of been suspicious. I only slow it down to were they're weak.

Finally the other three stopped fighting. I instantly loosened my control on them.

"We WILL get you back!" said Jason.

"I'd like to see you try dolphin boy." I said while they all glared at me.

I thought they were going to fight me again but before they got the chance the ship's alarm sounded.

We were under attack.
