Chapter 31

Mona's P.O.V

*1 week later*

"Do you think Eth will come to school today?" Riker asked from the driver's seat. My siblings/future brother-in-law were driving me to school cause after they would go to rehearsal at their next gig.

"I honestly don't know." I frowned. We're all worried about him. He hasn't been to school for a week! We all tried calling him, but it would always come to voicemail. We tried coming over, but no one answered.

"Let's hope he does!" Ratliff sighed. I sighed too. I know how hard this must be for him. Losing a mom AND dad in one night would honestly break my heart. I really hope he's coping well.

"WE'RE HERE!" Rocky screamed as he snapped back all our thoughts.

"Thanks. Cya later!" I tell them as I close the door behind me an follow Ari who's waiting at the door.

"Nothing?" I ask her. She's also helping us with Ethan.

"Nope. You?" She asks with hope in her voice an eyes.

"Nope." I respond. As soon as I say that, all the hope she had disappeared.

Ari's P.O.V

"Cya!" Mona said as she closed the door and made her way to her house.

"Cya!" Ry & I said in unison right before she closed the door. She smiled. We were all going to a concert for R5. But this concert was kinda different. This concert was for a special needed child who loves R5. She lost her battle, so that's when her parents asked them to come play near their house. Of course they accepted. The concert was booked a few weeks before the whole 'Ethan trouble' happened. Not that I'm acting annoyed. I seriously ship those two together!

"You know, that I've thought of it, I've never really met your parents as your boyfriend." Ry said as he turned the car towards the road.

"Oh ya! That's true!" I said as Ry started driving. "We still have time before the concert! Maybe we can pass by? Besides, I need somewhere to put my bag and do my homework before the show." I pointed out.

"Sure. Mona's also coming to the show. She should be eating and watching PLL by now..." Ry said. I stared at him in awe.

"Oh wow. Now I sound like a creep." Ry joked. I laughed.

"No it's doesn't! It just shows that you love your sister, you care for her, and you take time for her." I told him.

"Ok thew!" He pretended to wipe a sweat of his face. I rolled my eyes.

"So you're dating huh? I kinda expected that." Dad said. We were all gathered around the dining table.

"WE. We kinda expected that." Mom corrected dad.

"Wow really?" I asked surprised.

"Yep. Even though you wouldn't admit it, I could see that spark in your eyes but alas, your father didn't." Mom said as she turned to dad.

"Hey! It's not my fault that she would lock herself in her room!" Dad told mom. Mom rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, once I told your dad, he finally caught on."

"See? I DID see the spark after!" Dad told us.

"DAD!"

"And here you are!" Mom finished.

"Wow. So you're not mad or angry or whatever?" Ryland asked my parents.

"No of course not! Why would we be?" Mom asked.

"Well, I've kinda been expecting the whole 'over protective dad' thing to be honest!" Ry answered.

"See? I'm pretty hip huh?" Dad suddenly did some Austin Moon pose.

"Dad you just proved you're not 'hip'." I told him.

"Why? What do you people use now?" Dad asked.

"Cool. Just cool." I responded.

"I knew that!" Mom said.

"Sure you did Amy. Sure you did." Dad told her. Mom playfully gasped and playfully slapped dad. We chuckled.

-all my fave books are being updated more
-I'm going on another one of my camping trips (Ugh)
-Rydel's birthday was 2 days ago
