So last week, the doctors kinda gave up on Mona. They had to convince Mom & Dad to sign the papers that gave them all rights/authority's to pull the plug. We were all mad, but at the same time, we understand. It took more time to calm Ry & I down. We're not ready to lose her! We're now eating dinner.
"To think, today Mona's never gonna be here. We're never gonna hear her beautiful laugh anymore!" Ell said breaking our silence.
"And that smile!" Riker said sad.
"Her kind words of encouragement." Rydel added.
"Her bubbly personality." Rocky said.
"Her soothing voice." I continued.
"Her kindness." Ryland said.
"Her shyness." Dad added.
"Her love for all of us." Mom said.
"And last but not least," Ell said.
"Her corny jokes." We all said together. We all chuckled together as we remembered all the corny jokes she's said over the years. Kinda reminds me of Laura. But you can tell it was a sad chuckle.
"I'm gonna go to bed early. Goodnight!" I said.
"Night! We love you Ross!" Mom said.
"You too."

I waited until I heard everyone come upstairs. I wanted to see her at least one last time.
I went into Mona's room to get extra clothes just in case. After I prepared her stuff, and grabbed my stuff, I went out the window and headed for the hospital.

Mona's P.O.V
Why is everything so dark?
"K Maria. It's time." A unfamiliar voice says.
"Ok. But, like everyone else, we need to check if she is still asleep." Another unfamiliar voice states. Wait! Am I in a coma? Were they gonna pull the plug?!?
"Mona. If you can hear me, squeeze my hand." The voice told me. I gathered all my force and squeezed her hand.
"She's awake!" She said.
"Kay good job Mona, now I need you to try your best to open your eyes." The other voice told me. Again, I used all my force to flutter my eyes open.
"Hello Mona! I'm your nurse Mrs. Jones!" The lady told me.
"And I'm your doctor. Mr. Jones." He said.
"Are you two marri-"
"No we're not honey. Just a coincidence." Mrs. Jones said.
"Oh."
"Honey, I'm so glad you woke up!" She said.
"Hi Mr. & Mrs. Jones!" I heard Ross voice. My doctors immediately covered me.
"I just wanted to see her one last time before you pulled the plug." Ross said.
"Ross we have a surprise for you." Mr. Jones said.
"Nothing would be better if my dear Mona woke up. She promised she'd never leave me" Ross said sadly. I started to get teary.
"Well..." Mrs. Jones trailed.
"Wait! DID SHE!?" Ross said suddenly happy. I could imagine the grin and smirk on the doctors faces.
They turned around making me look directly into my brothers eyes. We both started to cry a little. He came and tackled me with hugs and kisses.
"I missed you so much!" Ross sobbed into my hospital gown.
"Awe Ross! You know I'd never leave you!" I answered still sobbing.
"We'll call your family kay kids?" Mr. Jones told us.
"Ok thanks for everything Mr. & Mrs. Jones!" Ross said looking up to my doctors.
"Welcome." They answered leaving Ross & I alone.

Rydel's P.O.V
"FAMILY MEETING!" I heard Dad call from downstairs.
"What's up?" I asked still kinda sad.
"Ry decided to watch some old tapes of Mona before we go to sleep." Mom said.
"Oh cool!"
"Hey where's Ross?" Rocky asked.
"Don't tell me he ran off!" Riker said.
Just then we heard the phone ring.
"I'll get it." I said.
*Phone Convo.*
"Hello?"
"Hello is this Lynch residence?" A familiar voice spoke.
"Yes. Andrea?" Andrea is the girl at the desk of the hospital.
"Yep! Mona woke up and Ross is with her. Hope to see you soon!" Andrea spoke.
*End of Phone Convo.*
I dropped the phone and started screaming.
"Rydel!" Ell said.
"Honey, what's wrong?" Mom asked concerned.
"MONA'S AWAKE AND ROSS IS WITH HER!"
