Pearl POV
Garnet is right. So is Steven. They've been talking about letting Jasper join us. I guess we did let Peridot join us. Lapis, too. And Rose did help Amethyst, too. So... we could help Jasper see things our way. I sighed.
"Let's go, Garnet." I said. She nodded and we went down to the bubblement
room. We popped her gem bubble. Her form grew. She gasped."Ha! I'm back! Now to shatter those traitorous gems!" She yelled and summoned her helmet. Then she finally realized we were right there. She growled at us.
"Wait! We wanted to ask you something!" Garnet said.
"Well..." She said. Garnet looked at me. "ASK!!" Jasper yelled. I jumped, startled.
"We want you to join us!" Garnet yelled. Jasper laughed.
"You think I would join you... you traitors?!" She laughed again.
"Yes! If you see what is worth protecting here, you'd want to stay! To protect it! To live on it! To love it!" Garnet yelled. Jasper once again did her laugh.
"There is nothing worth protecting on this wretched rock!" Jasper yelled.
"There are innocent people who live on this planet!" I said. Somehow, that got Jasper's attention.
"No, there is nothing here worth protecting." She said, then she ran off. We were about to poof her when she jumped on the Warp pad and warped. We followed her to the Galaxy Warp.
"Let her go. She's going to Homeworld. We won't be able to catch her there, not without being caught ourselves." Garnet said. I sighed. We let Jasper get away, and now, she'll cause more trouble for us. Of course. We went back to the temple and waited for the others.
