It was just supposed to be another day, but there was Brooke...right in front of the building.

"Hey, Ainsley. Sorry for interrupting you yesterday. I just ran onto him that time and he wanted me to join you two," she said, her head down.

"Huh!? No, don't be. I had vomited the food I ate there yesterday, that's why I wasn't there," I replied. "Anyway, where is Anderson?"

"He's at his office, if I remember correctly. Wanna come?"

It was pretty much awkward having Brooke there. But I guess she's just Anderson's friend. She has worked for a long time here, after all. I'm just a newbie here, 2 months in.

"So, how are your first two months here?" Brooke asked.

"Uhm...it was a blast. Meeting Anderson was like a dream to me. I was just watching him before, jumping over every little appearance he makes, be it his own newscast or 60 Minutes or any movie. I'm so blessed to meet him...and even work with him," I answered, my face blushing in bright red.

She chuckles. "Anderson is so kind. He'll be always there to look out for you. At the same time, he's crazy. He loves to crack jokes. He's also quiet. I see him in his office everyday, just working. And those pictures of his mom certainly have gained him strength, as well as Carter's and his dad's. Not to mention his partner Ben."

He's so kind...Brooke had it right. The moment I joined CNN, history started to unfold in front of my eyes.
