After the broadcast ended, we immediately packed up and bought dinner at some fastfood chain we found.
"Oh God! This is delicious!" I said, drinking the iced tea I bought. Anderson was just staring at me sternly.
"W-what?" I teased at him. His mind was so blank that I could tell it from his stare.
"Why? Aren't you happy?" he said.
"WHAT?! Of course I am happy!" I insisted, continuing to eat the burger I bought.
"I'd like to say thanks for choosing me," he said, making my face shine in red once again.
It's because I'm loyal, Anderson. I can't miss a chance being with you. I am so damn afraid of losing you.
"So, would you want to sleep at my place once again?" he invited me.
"No, actually. I'd like you to sleep at my place," I proposed. "Would you like to?"
His face went bright.
"Of course! I'd love to see your place," he accepted the offer.
And yes, we ended up in my place.
"Wow, this is your place?" he asked. "It's so amazing!"
I just chuckled as a response.
I put my things in my bed, and decided to cook dinner for him as a thanksgiving.
I saw him in the dining table, looking at his phone.
"Thanks for letting me in your house," he said.
"Actually, I would like to thank you," I replied.
"Why?" he asked.
"Because you changed my life," I answered.
He smiled.
"Well...I guess I am a journalist. Because that is what I wanted to do. I want to let people feel what I feel. And probably that's why I am here. I want to let them know what is happening and what those people feel right now, because we are there to hear them out...to hear their voices out."
"It's probably because of that thing that we are now here. I still feel like it was a dream. But seeing you and all of the staff do their hardest in bringing the news to people not just here in the United States but also around the world motivated me to do my work. I just wish this time would never end," I added.
We both laughed.
