11:02 pm.
We were at his home, invited by him to sleep over there. I ain't kidding.
"I'm sure you're exhausted from all the work today, so I hope you have a good night," Anderson happily said as he changed from his work clothes to his t-shirt and gray shorts.
"Are you really, really sure about this?" I hesitated yet again.
"Of course, Ainsley. I know it's awkward, but I wanna know you better," he justified his statement earlier.
"Okay, okay. It's awkward, I know that. But please, don't strip in front of me," I demanded.
His face went red. I giggled hard.
"At least, have some embarrassment on your face!" I exclaimed. We both laughed.
"It's been a great day with you, Ainsley," he said with a smiling face.
My face blushed in bright red. I became speechless.
"W-well...it's fun being with you..." I replied embarrassingly.
I had a crush on him back when I was in middle school. His silver hair was so mesmerizing. His voice was heaven. He's everything I wanted in a boy. His cool demeanor, his tough questions, his journalistic style...he has all the elements that I've been searching for in a boy. And now that he's here...really here...it's just heaven. I'm in cloud nine. This is a memory, and a moment I will never, ever forget for the rest of my life. I got lucky on my first job, after all.
We had chatted about everything...except that I had a crush on him back in middle school.
"I...I had a crush on you back in middle school," I confessed.
The atmosphere became awkward.
"H-hey..." he groaned.
"I ain't kidding. You're already there," I answered, raising my hand above my head.
"Haha. Thanks...I guess," he shrugged.
That's it? I thought. Seriously? Damn, I'm about to cry.
"Good night, Ainsley," he said, and closed the door.
"Good night, Anderson," I replied. And I love you.
