Checking yourself in the mirror, you decided to put on some lipstick at the last minute. You knew your boyfriend Aron had a weakness for it, he loved kissing your painted lips, and even more if your lipstick had a flavored taste. Aron and you were a weird couple. As everyone knew, he was the oldest but always acted like a little child, and you were more of a serious type. You weren't exactly opposites, since you could also be fun, especially around Aron who made it so easy. But you definitely were the most 'adult' one of the two even if you were several years younger than him. Aron and you met thanks to mutual friends that you had made after you moved in Korea. You don't really remember how you fell in love, because it happened naturally. You were renting a very small student apartment which Aron had a key to. He had a tight schedule, and you still had class during the week. Hanging out together could be difficult. Sometimes you slept at the Nu'Est dorm, but it wasn't really allowed, so most of the times it was Aron who was visiting you which is why giving him a key had been an easy and smart decision. He was very comfortable in your home, tonight proved it. He opened the bathroom door suddenly, almost making you ruin your lipstick line.
"Are you ready, (_____)? I don't want to be late or there will be a crowd of people!" He asked innocently.
"Yah, Aron-ssi!" You yelled. Aron was laughing. "Do you not know what knocking is?!" You asked in frustration.
"You look pretty." Was the only answer he gave you as he left the bathroom's entrance, still laughing. You frowned and put your makeup kit back where it was. He was always making you frustrated but you couldn't help loving it. You left the bathroom and grabbed his arm.
"I'm ready, let's go!" You said in English. Aron didn't move one bit and looked at you with raised eyebrows. "Wae?" You switched back to Korean, wondering what he wanted. He pouted and looked at the ceiling, innocently keeping quiet. When you finally understood what he wanted, you gave him another sigh. "Yes, you look handsome as well." You told him with an annoyed face.
"Ah, thanks, dear jagiya! I have the sweetest girlfriend, always complimenting me by surprise!" He teased you, kissing your forehead before finally leaving your flat. He knew you hated when he called you jagiya. And you knew he loved it when you were annoyed.
You weren't exactly having a date night tonight. It was more of a horror night. The newest horror movie had come out and Nu'Est had planned on watching it together. Girlfriends were allowed but only Aron -obviously- and Baekho had one. You didn't mind not being alone with Aron because you liked the others and you were glad to spend some time as a group. If anything, it was making you happy Aron would have other people to bother tonight. You put on your shoes and left your flat at Aron's arm. You weren't dressed fancy but you were fashionable, as always. Ever since you moved in Korea and hanged out with people from the music industry, your personal style had elevated. You were wearing wine-red, high-waist shorts with an over-sized round-collar black tee-shirt tucked in the front; you also had black high socks and a pair of grey boots. You did not have the perfect body figure, but this suited you well. The bracelets around your left arm were all gifts from your boyfriend. He wasn't the most comfortable talking about his feelings or opening up at all, so little gifts were his way of showing you how much he loved you. They weren't expensive bracelets, but they were little tokens he usually brought back from concert locations or trips to show you he was still thinking about you, even when you were far from each other. Aron was wearing black pants and a grey buttoned-up shirt. You weren't matching but you went well together. Once you entered his car, you started chatting.
"I don't think we've ever watched a horror movie together, have we?" You asked your boyfriend.
"No we haven't." He answered, eyes on the road. He sounded lightly surprised, and you were, too. Knowing Aron, the maknae-hyung, you were surprised he never took you to watch a horror movie or a horror show. It would have been a perfect moment for him to tease you.
