Chapter 8: Father or uncle

"What!" I screamed

"What did you just say?" I asked again    he did not respond he just refused to meet my eyes but is this man deceiving me? I could tell he wasn't because when I first arrived, I felt like someone here is from my lineage it turns out it was this man he truly is family not only just my family he is my uncle from my father's side wait my father? maybe he knows where my father is, my heart started beating at the possibility of him knowing where he is.

  All my life whenever I asked my mom where my dad is, she always told me he was in a better place which is quite strange because anytime I see the angel of death take away a deceased person if there is a young child that belongs to the deceased, the young child asks the deceased other family "where is my mom? Where is my dad" the family's usual response is "your mom/dad is in a better place" by better place they mean heaven which confuses me even more because I have lived in heaven all my life and I didn't see my father and so whenever my mom says better place I think now is there a place better than heaven? That is another one of the million questions I have i really miss my mom  even though she kicked me out the only place I have lived for so long. anyways back to reality I turned back to the man

"Do you know where my father is? "I asked him

"No" he said but I could just tell he is lying

"Why are you lying"I asked again he clenched his jaw as if he was trying to control his anger

"I am not" he said with gritted teeth

"You are"I said

"am not"

"You are"

"For the millionth time I do not know where your father is darn I sure liked you better when you didn't speak" he shouted really loud I jumped back at the tone of his voice.

  he just ignored me and continue to walk forward if yelling at him and begging him to tell me where my father is doesn't work, then it's time to use my only weapon I walked faster so I could catch up to him and felt within my self if I could find an ounce of my magic left in me luckily I did and I was surprised I still had my hypnotizing powers I caught up to the man and said

  "Tell me what I want to know and by then shall you go"I said in a voice I barely recognize mine I had this strong hope that it will work but all my hope was inflated when the man started laughing

"Wait you actually think that it will work on me oh my Zyla ha ha ha you are so funny how can that even work....."he stopped laughing when he saw sadness written all over my face to think that I will see my father why did I even try

"Look Zyla I will tell you all you need to know about your father but not now because it's dangerous for me to tell you here. now change that sad face you have on now and let's take you to your dorm" the man said

"Promise me you will tell me about my father" I said

"I promise Zyla, now lemme show you around the few prominent places you will hang around follow me" I followed him and we entered a big hall which am guessing is the cafeteria and in the middle of it was a big circle and the circle was divided into 3 parts the first part had the drawing of a sword the second had a crown the third one had a wand and he spoke again

"That is the representation of the whole vampire race the crown represents the royavamps they are the one treated specially they are basically the rulers and we have to respect them.

Then there is the fitavamps they live to protect the royavamps they serve them and guard them without the fitavamps, there will be no royavamp and lastly the element vamps they are the ones with power they each have a special element they can control but to sum it up the most important is the Royavamps" i nodded my head and he continued speaking

"the element vamps are so diverse that they are the ones with the highest population of vampire's every one of them has one element they can't have more than one I am not going to elaborate on the various elements, but that's  little of what needs to be known about vampires" he stopped for sometime and continued

"Listen Zyla you are half vampire so you will be unlikely to belong to any of the vampire population but nevertheless you are a vampire tell me when you notice anything weird and Zyla not everyone will be accepting the facts that you don't have  powers you might be bullied or insulted but I promise to help you through it because that's what family is for right"he smiled

"Right I already feel like I belong here with you by my side"I said sincerely 

"Yes zyla you are like the daughter I never had" he said I saw something like guilt in his eyes but I brushed it off it must have been the trick of the lights. by the way I just noticed there were lot of people in this cafeteria what are this people doing awake don't they sleep or something

"Everyone here are vampires because of our vulnerability to sun,we go to our dorms to sleep by 7.00am everyday while classes start by 7pm and ends by 5am and there is the first break by 9.30pm, lunch by 12pm and finally the last break by 3pm every break lasts 20 minutes this is currently the first break so everyone should just be living I know you are exhausted do  you wanna settle down in your dorm or go to class?" He asked seriously this man I mean uncle can read minds how did he know what I was thinking

"I think I will just go to the dorm am really sleepy" I can't remember ever being sleepy I guess am turning human because angels don't sleep, they don't get hungry,(except if they want to eat anything) they don't even get exhausted or sick but now am just vulnerable to anything

"Good follow me" we went farther away from the cafeteria and we reached another hall but there where doors at each ends and the beginning read girls dorm boldly there where a few girls standing in the doorway and when they saw me they where whispering well not so subtle because I could hear them say

"who is she?"

"Is she new?" 

"Where is her mark?"

"What is she doing with santos?"

I zoned them out and and suddenly we stopped in front of the dorm that read 103

"Okay Zyla this is your dorm" he pushed open the door and I entered
to put it simply this place is just small compared to my room in heaven. my room is quadrupled times bigger than this dorm room and the room is divided into two parts there are 2 beds and 2 mini fridge I guess it's 2 people that must share this room then  maybe I have a roommate I got in and he spoke up

"Okay i am gonna leave you to yourself and your cat enjoy" he said

"What is your name" I asked

"Santos" he said

"Okay uncle santos" I said

"Please just Santos is fine" he said

"Okay Santos" he went out the door and I was left alone with lucky  I sat on the bed and I called to lucky she meowed and transformed back to her human form

"I think your uncle is hot really hot"lucky said and winked at me I smiled

"Luckkyy What the heck don't say that   I am pretty sure you are not his type" I said just to annoy her

"Please you are just jealous that he is your uncle and you can't get some" she said teasingly

"Lucky you are one heck of a person I am really exhausted right now so let's just go sleep"

"Hmmn what's that smell humph" she sniffed around "i think it's coming from you Zyla, you smell bad go take a shower geez" she exaggerates and coughs acting like she is dying I just rolled my eyes and smiled I went to bathroom in the dorm to take a shower and after taking a shower I went to the bed and saw lucky asleep under the bed I went to bed, changed into the clothes from burning flames and drifted off to sleep and before I could even start dreaming I heard a loud scream and a girl stood there saying

"What the fuck are you doing on my bed" I looked up and saw that it was Stacey the stuck up bitch wait is she my roommate?

Sort of a cliffhanger right I know anyways
