Chapter 10

Phoenix's P.O.V 

I made my way up the bleachers and stood by Mal needless to say she was surprised to see me. " Hey i thought you couldn't come " she said as i smiled to myself " i asked my parents  and they said i could come " I said while she looked confused " what about your ex-best friends visit " she asked as i frowned " yeah i tried to invite her but she didn't want to come and i got in a bit of trouble with my parents by raising my voice at them " I said as she frowned at me a bit " so you have to do what " she asked as i looked away " for the next 4 days i can't take my bow and arrow to school and i have to hand over my computer " I said as she giggled a bit " 4 days " she asked as i nodded " the reason why it's four days is because i rarely ever got in trouble i was obedient so while i'm grounded  if I  even  touch my bow and arrow or try to sneak my computer the days increase " I said as she nodded and then we continued to watch the game. 

Lucky for our team we won thanks to Jay and Carlos cause he sort of helped . it was a real victory for our team but during the announcement Ben grabbed the mic and started singing to Mal with everyone dancing i was smiling and singing along.  Soon after Ben took off his jersey and threw at Mal and came up in the stands. Then Audrey came up in the stands " Chad's my boyfriend now and i'm going to the coronation with him so i don't need your pity date " Audrey said as i rolled my eyes " no one cares Audrey " i said loud enough for her to hear as Ben took mic from her " Mal will you go to the coronation with me " he asked as Mal grabbed the Mic and said yes to his Question. The Crowd cheered as Ben hugged Mal. After the Game Carlos Approached me as i was about to head home " Hey Phoenix " he said as i stopped in my tracks "Carlos,hey " I said happily as he came closer " um...do you...uh never mind see ya tomorrow " he said as i frowned " uh yeah see ya " i said walking off leaving him behind. 

Carlos's P.O.V 

ugh..why couldn't i tell her how i feel about her. I mean it looked so easy for Ben , well that's because he's under a spell. I sighed as i walked the other Direction towards Mal,Jay,and Evie. "hey guys " i said as Mal turned around and smiled at me " so did you you tell her " she asked while i looked away for a second " um...no i haven't yet " I said as she frowned at me " Carlos we know you like her why can't you tell her " Evie said soothingly as i sighed " it's not easy guys " I said as they took that into consideration. " If it helps you could write a confession letter " Mal said as i shrugged " yeah but i want tell her to her face " I said as Evie smiled " we could help you if you want " Evie said as i smiled at them " thanks but i can do this i just have to find the right time " I said as they nodded and we walked off toward our dorms. 

Phoenix's P.O.V

When i was walking home i couldn't stop thinking about what Carlos's question was or what he wanted to tell me. I walked through the Door and greeted my father and mother. " phoenix how was the game " father asked as i shrugged "   it was okay i mean we won " I said a little Dazed and Mother could tell she'd seen that look before it's the look father still gives her from time to time. " who is he " she asked out of the blue while me and my dad turned around in shocked. I was confused why would she ask that out of the blue i really didn't know what she meant. " what do you mean " i asked as she stood up and walked towards me with a smile on her face " Phoenix you can't fool me i know that look when i see you like someone so who is he " she said as i smiled a bit. " I don't like anybody " i said laughing a bit then it was my father's turn to interrogate me. " Phoenix we can tell when your lying so spill " he said as i put my hands up in surrender." i'm serious guys i don't like anyone i promise " i lied not risking telling them the truth cause i knew my father would flip since i was his little princess and he didn't want to lose me to a boy. 

    my mother looked at my father shaking her head a little " come on Phoenix you know you can trust us well me at least " she said playfully as my father put his hand on his chest in mock offense. " okay....you got me " i said sighed giving in as she smirked up at my father making him roll his eyes and his interest was already striked from the moment mother asked her first question.  " i knew it now who is he " she asked as i looked away afraid of what they would say to me if i tell them " um...Carlos the son of Cruella de vil " i said lowering my voice to almost a whisper. " one of the isle of the lost kids? " Father asked as i hid my face behind a pillow " Robin our daughter can like who she wants cause no matter how much we tell her no she's gonna like him anyways " Mom said saving me from a lecture. " i suppose you right " he said then he smiled at me and hugged me but that turned serious " if he hurts you don't expect me to be the nice guy you know me as " he said typical daddy stuff. 

i smiled at my father and hugged him " okay daddy whatever you say " i say smirking a bit as i stole his hat again. " seriously Phoenix " he said playfully as i giggled and gave him back his hat then headed to my room. I was happy my parents approved of my crush now if i can just confess my feelings to him that's gonna be the hardest thing i'll ever face.
