Chapter 12

Phoenix's P.O.V 

Me and Evie were having a good time just chatting about things. " so i saw you talking with Doug do you like him because i think he likes you " I said as Evie looked away a bit still keeping her smile " maybe " she said as i smiled a bit and pushed her " oh my gosh you do " i said laughing a bit brushing my red hair out of my eyes. " well when did you start liking Carlos " Evie asked crossing her legs as i shrugged " i don't know probably from the day we tried to steal the wand " i whispered as Evie smiled "  are you sure you want to help us with this " Evie said as i nodded slowly still pretty much committed  to the scheme. " What would your parents do if they found out that you tried to steal  the  wand " Evie said which made me confused because i never thought about how my parents would feel. I was so caught up with my revenge on Audrey knowing that's not what my parents would do. 

I didn't want to send my whole family to the isle of the lost for my stupidity but i also wanted to get revenge on Audrey. " They'll be disappointed in me " i said sadly looking away a tear glistening in my eye.  I wanted to get revenge but i really didn't want to bare with the disappointing "It's okay you really don't have to do this if you don't want to " Evie said as i smiled a bit " neither do you  Evie " i said as she laughed at me a bit then looked down " I want to win my mother's approval " Evie said as i looked down and frowned " yeah but you don't have to be like her " I said as Evie smiled a bit and hugged me " thanks Phoenix " she said as she pulled out of the hug " and another thing Doug's a good kid and he won't judge you plus you don't have to do anything to win his affection " i said as Evie said smiling at me " well i have to go my parents expect me home for dinner see ya later Evie " i said hugging her and exited the room. 

Robin hood's P.O.V 

it's almost supper and Phoenix is still not home. " where could she be " i asked as Marian looked at me with a smile that was reassuring " she should be getting here any minute " she said and about that moment Phoenix came running toward the house. " hey sorry i'm late i was talking with Evie "  she said as her mother smiled a bit " well you food is gonna get cold " Marian said as she nodded and headed inside " so who is this Evie girl " i asked curiosity lacing my words as phoenix held her one finger indicating she was chewing her food, she swallowed and took a drink of water then sighed " Evie is Evil queen's daughter  " she said as I nodded. Then she looked at me " so two days from now is Family day do you two plan on coming " she asked stuffing her mouth with food " yeah i think we'll go " i said and Marian nodded and Phoenix smiled. then she got up and went to her room.
