Chapter 17

Phoenix's P.O.V 

The next morning i woke up and got dressed in  green shirt that showed a little shoulder and black skirt with a pair of flats. I looked in the Mirror and brushed through my hair being mindful of the fox ears then i brushed my long bushy tail. I braided my hair to the side and grabbed my bag then headed out of my room sighing to myself.  I walked in the Kitchen and grabbed an apple " good morning  mother and father " i greeted looking at my green nails that i painted last night " Good morning Phoenix i see your going to school today " Father said taking a sip of his coffee as i nodded " yeah i much rather not though " I said grabbing my bow that was by fathers and a few arrows for later " Well if you want we can home school you again " mother said as i looked at her with a smile " i would love that but i just don't think i want to leave my four best friends and my boyfriend " I said looking out the window " well if you don't want to we won't make you " Father said as i nodded and headed out the door " well um i guess i'll see you after school then " i said walking out of the door. 

When i got there i was instantly greeted by Ben " Well i see you finally decide to come " he said as i smiled a bit " yeah but i didn't want to " i said puling on my bag a little " you'll be fine Phoenix " he said walking off while i rolled my eyes and made my way to Remedial goodness where my friends and my boyfriend were most likely waiting for me. When i got there they were silent i guess they were still bothered about what happened Sunday. I sat by my boyfriend and smiled at him " i had a feeling you weren't coming " Carlos said as i smirked " well i couldn't let you or the rest down that's not the kind of person i am " i said making him smile as he kissed my cheek. 

Time skip 

After class me, Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos headed to the picnic area and sat down. About that moment everyone startled laughing " Hey guys how is everyone " Ben said coming up to us as we stayed silent " hey listen forgot about it alright it was nothing forget about it let it go Tomorrow after the Coronation I promise everything will be okay " he said as i rolled my eyes but stayed silent then bend close to Mal's ear " I have to go i'll see you guys later " he  said as we nodded as he walked off and that's when Doug came over " Listen Evie i wanna talk about earlier i just...." he start until Chad interrupted him" Doug " he called making me glare at him " It's all my fault Doug" Evie said in a slight whisper " no it's mine " Doug said back and Chad cut in again " Doug" Evie said as Doug looked at her " sorry i can't " he said walking off as i stood up " Chad why can't leave people alone and mind your own  damn business " I said but he ignored me and i just sat down and that's when Audrey cam over " ugh here comes the bitch " i mumbled to myself.  " How long does she think that's gonna last ? Mal's just the bad girl infatuation and Phoenix is a freak all on her own " Audrey said immediately catching my attention " Yeah i mean he's never gonna make a villain a queen and i still believe his best friend is the daughter of a thief   " Jane said as they laughed and walked away. 

Mal opened her spell book with a faint glare in her eyes " beware forswear  undo Jane's hair " Mal said turning away the attention from us to Jane. Soon all the girls were scared " there's more where that came from " Mal said as we all looked at them " um excuse me but who do you think you are " Audrey said as i looked at her with a glare " And bitch i'd appreciate it if you keep my name out your fucking mouth or else your hair isn't gonna be the only thing that's gonna be messed up " i said as Mal high fives me " do we look like we're kidding " Mal said opening her spell book making everyone run away " I'm so ready for tomorrow let's grab that wand and blow this Popsicle stand " Mal said as Carlos offered his hand and i took as we walked off. As much as i didn't want to have me and my family sent to the isle i really wanted to  get revenge on Audrey.  Even if it meant ruining my daddy-daughter relationship.
