Shelby
After Will was put into an ambulance everyone drove to the hospital.
Currently we were waiting in the waiting room.
I was crying over my coffee that Ash got me from the nearest Starbucks.
They keep saying he's going to be okay.
But I don't know if I believe them.
Graser places a hand on my shoulder.
His eyes are puffy from crying.
"I'm so sorry. Sometimes I can be an idiot. Please forgive me." He apologizes sadly.
I pat the seat next to me and he sits down.
I curl my head into his shoulder, and quietly cry.

Will
I see blackness.
That's it.
I hear fire crackling.
"Welcome to Hell." I hear someone whisper.
Is this a dream?
"What has brought you here?"
I take a step forward.
Another step.
And another.
It's endless darkness, and endless sounds of fire.
"Oh, another suicide. It's disappointing they still aren't letting you guys into Heaven."
What the hell have I done?
"What the?!" I hear the voice yell as a bright light clouds my vision.

Shelby
A nurse runs out.
I'm the only one left.
"We have a heartbeat!" She yells.
I stand.
I run towards her.
She grabs my hand and we make our way to his room.
Sure enough his heart monitor is going up and down, up and down.
"This is a breakthrough." The nurse laughs.
"Can I stay in here?" I smile.
"Of course."
I plop myself in a chair next to Will's bed.
"You know you're a strong one. A tough fighter." I whisper to the sleeping body next to me.

Meghan brought me food, but after Will still didn't wake up she left and tried to drag me along.
I refused.
Even though his heartbeat is steady and he has brain waves, no one believes anymore that he'll live.
I do.
The nurse does.
"The hospital is closing." The nurse smiles sweetly.
"Hospitals don't close." I say.
"You got me. You're friend told me to say that to get you out of here." She smiles.
"Well I'm not leaving." I bark out.
"Come on sweetheart. It'll be easier. We'll call as soon as he wakes up." She tries to persuade me.
I am tired.
And hungry.
And sitting here like a duck is just making it worse.
"Fine."
The nurse smiles.
I pick my pack of lifesavers up and grab Will's hand.
"I'll be back tomorrow love. Don't do anything too big while I'm gone."
I lean down and kiss him.
I pull back.
I thought maybe that'd work.
It always does in movies.
The girl kisses the boy in the coma and he kisses back.
Not today.
I let go of Will's hand, and start walking towards the door.
"Don't leave me." I hear a croaky voice.
"Please."
I run over to Will and hug him.
"What the hell were you thinking?" I yell. "God, I love you."
"Are those lifesavers?" He points to my hand.
"Want one?" I smile.
"They're my favorite. Just like you." I hand him one.
"You know. You're kind of like my lifesaver." He smiles.
