This is Mafia.
In case you've never played this infamous game, let me explain the rules.
So there are four positions.
The Mafia,
The Nurse,
The Sheriff,
And The Bystanders.
There is also a Narrator, but they don't play in the game.
Each night, everybody will close their eyes and sleep.
The Mafia wakes up and will choose who they would like to kill, and inform the Narrator.
The Mafia goes back to sleep.
The Nurse wakes up and will choose who they would like to save or heal, and inform the Narrator.
The Nurse goes back to sleep.
The Sheriff wakes up and will choose who they would like to accuse of being the Mafia, and inform the Narrator.
The Sheriff goes back to sleep.
Everybody wakes up in the morning, and the Narrator reports on the last night.
If the Mafia successfully killed their victim, meaning they avoided the Nurse healing their victim, then the victim is out of the game.
If the Nurse happened to be lucky enough to save the Mafia's victim, then the victim would still be in the game.
If the Sheriff has made their guess, then the town has to pit a vote on if they think said person is the Mafia.
If they have enough votes, they will be executed, and will be out of the game.
If said person is the Mafia, then the game will be over.
If said person did not get enough votes, they would still be in the game.
Now, these are the rules for Mafia, not Thin Ice.
You can read about that in the next chapter.
