"Son, it's time to pick a bride or at least have someone in mind." King Levon told his oldest son. "Jade isn't very suitable for me. I know how you want me to consider Jade as an option but I can't live my life unhappy. Noah understands because he has to do the same sooner or later as well." Seth told his father. "I can't force you but encourage you to try. Jade is a very nice girl and I think if you give her a chance maybe you'll end up liking her." King Levon keeps pushing. "Knives ahead!" I warned them, "arrows coming your way, Seth!" Seth caught the arrows in his hand with a single drop of blood. The king and queen ducked their heads while Noah that it was pretty cool. The knives got suck into the wall as I came to pull the knives out which wasn't as difficult than I thought. "Heh. Sorry, about the wall marks. It could be a piece of art..." I faked laugh which Noah and Seth actually laughed hard at their parents' shocked faces. "Kasey!" Shadow called out to me, "these kids can't be taught without their weapons." I laughed as I ran out and did a front flip to skip walking down the stairs as I landed perfectly. "How about someone more active and adventurous?" Noah pokes Seth as their parents resume with their talk. "Like who? The princess of Quetta?" Queen Peyton gives Noah a look. "I think Lord Kasey would suitable as a bride for Seth," Noah smirked. "I'd allow that into consideration but she's no royal or high titled to help benefit this kingdom or ensure your future will last." King Levon said. "This is about my happiness too, father!" Seth raises his voice when talking. "She's wearing a mask, nothing but armor, eye patch, and closely watches over people like she's hiding." King Levon says. "She's a Lord, father!" Seth points out. "Don't you think I don't recognize them?" King Levon holds up a 'Wanted' poster of her hidden face. "What is she?" Seth asked annoyed that he couldn't make his own choice. "She's an assassin! She kills people to make money." He shouted at his son. "Father, you can't always go for their rank. What about you and mother? Did you go base off her social class and royal titled?" Noah points out as Seth and he leaves the throne room.
"I don't understand! Why can't he let me make my own choices!" He angrily says to me as I shoot arrows at the target. "Stop shooting and listen to me!" Seth says and quickly apologizes for his burst of anger. I stop shooting the arrow and come over to him as I sat on the fence. "Find someone random that you like and divorce them. Run the kingdom alone because you have the power to control." I told him. "It's not that easy. He wants me to marry Jade. Why a Glacial girl?" Seth questions. "You answer yourself. I have work to do that doesn't involve sitting here." I told him as I throw my daggers hitting the bullseye without missing a shot. "How good are you at this?" Seth asked wondering what his father said was true. "I know what you want. Everyone wants to know but here's your answer. Do you think we are good or bad? Do we do it for money? We may do this because we have no choice but to also protect the people we care about. We all have reasons to our madness." I told Seth as I gather my weapons and leave him to think. "Lord Kasey!" Seth called out my name. "...What?" I roll my eyes turning to face him. "Can you stay?" Seth asked not wanting me to leave the kingdom. "I don't belong here. I go when the journey takes me." I told him. "Make me one of them. I don't want to marry someone I don't love. I want to explore with you minus the killing." He told me. "I can't take you with me. We're traveling to find Damien. He was taken away by bandits." I sighed knowing that I had a long way to go to time find him. Seth frowns with disappointment. "He's your boyfriend, lover, fiancé?" Seth said in a disappointed tone in his voice. "No, it's not like that. We were close but I messed it up. We had a fight and that night the bandits took him away from us. I need to see him again." I said breathing heavily. "Please come back," Seth said coming over to me and holding my right hand. "You're scaring me. I have weapons and I'm not afraid to use them." I said nervously by Seth was holding my hand. "I'd never intended to hurt you, Kasey. I want you by my side but I know your heart belongs to someone else." Seth says softly as he slid his family seal ring onto my middle finger. "W-Why you doing this?" I asked as my hand was shaking but he took hold of my other hand. Seth steps closer to me until there were two inches apart from us. "I don't even know you. Let me show you for the rest of your stay. If you come back I'll be waiting for I give you three years. My coronation is in two years from today. Your seat will remain open along with as many people you'd like to have come." Seth said with our lips almost touching. I bit my lip but not too hard before speaking, "I'll take you up on that offer. We leave in five days until we sail to Weston. Come or leave but Collin will teach you my ways. Don't want my people to think you get special treatment." "Good one, my Lord," Seth smirks as he gave me a quick kiss before leaving with an arrow. "Hey, you going to give that back, Romeo?" I laughed. "Something to remember you." Seth laughs holding up my arrow and a dagger. I chuckled as he went back to the castle and then I looked down to see the ring as I smiled.
