"Damien!" I said shocked at seeing Damien at the market. Seth went to look at the newest library while I was getting food for the house we rented out. "K-Kasey, what are you doing here?" Damien asked nervously and thankful that Hazel was in the house sleeping still. "Business what not? I thought Archer taken you into the guild." I said annoyed. "Destroyed. Archer is dead." Damien sounds proud of himself. "Arrogant much? Possibly can't do all with those hands of yours. Surely you had help." I said not letting him fool me. "When you leaving?" Damien asked hoping that she wouldn't know. "The time after your wedding," I laughed when I saw his face go pale, "you can't find the fact. I saw the ring on her finger and I knew that Micah and Collin knew something for they were acting strange and distant." "I-I can explain!" Damien said not wanting to hurt her feelings. "You broke the love. I knew it was hopeless but I still chose to run after you..." I said choking on my words with disappointment, "I only hurt myself I matter of time." I knew Seth would be coming soon to get me. Seth saw everything that was going on and he knew instantly this must be the guy she talked about. Seth saw her walk away after she slapped him and he took the chance to talk to him.
"How could you hurt someone like her? You know that she's better than Hazel. I know because she was my brother's ex-girlfriend. All she wants is power and wealth." Seth punched him in anger and he didn't care that he could ruin his family name.
"I-I didn't know that she was like that. I-I just let the girl who I thought didn't love me back go. I need to fix this." He said ashamed of what he did but he still also has feelings for Hazel despite the things he just heard.
"No, you have done enough for her. I've given her something that wasn't necessary returned. You have to truly show her to help her understand how you feel. I'm guessing what you didn't."
"You don't own her at all. She's dangerous and you don't know her like I do."
"That's true but I'm willing to learn and like everything about her even the dark side she carries. We all have our secrets." Damien got angry that he punched Seth back.
Damien and Seth started a fight with them punching each other until they draw their weapons. Damien had his sword while Seth prefers to use a spear instead. I heard some commotion going on that I went back to Damien to see them fighting. I marched over there and used the power to push them away from each other. "Enough is enough." I slap their weapons out of their hands as the sword and spear fell to the ground. "Unarmed is going to be easy. Damien, I suggest you leave and none of my people will appear to see you again. You're soon to be wife is a shameful assassin. She was in Assassin training school with me and she hates me with everything she's got. She never graduated from there because she wasn't getting anywhere." I laughed at Damien. "You knew who?" said Seth. "You mean sadly. She used all her many ex-boyfriends." I replied. "Get lost and I don't want you near Kasey again," Seth says with his green eyes glaring at Damien. "If that's even her name," Damien says loud enough for Seth to hear. "You wouldn't dare if you know what's good for you. I'll have her killed or I'll come find your future kids and kill them." I threatened him. Seth took my hand as we left the market to reach the house.
