The rain seemed to be getting heavier and heavier as the time went by. (Or so it seemed to Kit, who kept looking out of the window anxiously every few minutes 😂.)
"Are you sure you don't want to go and check it out?" teased Beam mercilessly 😈, a twinkle in his eyes as he observed his friend fidgeting for the past 5 minutes (😂 Yes, it has only been 5 minutes).
"What?! What for? I am not worried about him! 😤"
"Ah-ha 🤗. Who said anything about you being worried?"
"... I..."
Before Kit could reply, he was interrupted by one of the members of the Engineering gang.
"Hey Forth! We are running out of ice here."
"Why don't someone go to the shop and..."
"I'll do it!!" Kit volunteered himself excitedly, causing every eyes to turn on him.
"What...? I just need a breather from you stinky lot, that's all!" said a flabbergasted Kit as he snatched the money from Forth, avoiding the knowing look on Beam's face 😏. Within minutes, he was out of the room, an umbrella in his hand, walking quickly down the stairs to the first floor.
Once he was there, Kit hesitated before opening his umbrella.
"Why am I even thinking about this kid?! 😡" Kit thought, feeling annoyed and frustrated.
"He might not even be there!"
"😠 Grrr... If I get myself wet for nothing, you better watch out, Ming!" grumbled Kit, as he finally opened his umbrella and stepped out into the open, heading towards the beach. He was wet within minutes as the strong wind blew the rain and sand around him. Quickening his pace, he finally arrived near the spot where he had left Ming alone.
"Ai'Ming! Are you still here?" Kit shouted, looking around to see if he can spot him nearby.
"This is stupid... No, I'm stupid! Who the hell in the right mind would stay out in this weather?!" Kit thought miserably as he turned around to head back to the resort. It was at that moment that he caught a glimpse of something... a silhouette of someone...
"Ming 😲!" Kit shouted, as he approached the squatting figure.
"P'Kit....?"
"😠 What the hell are you still doing here?! Are you trying to get yourself killed or something?! 😡 You could have been struck by lightning, out here in the open!!"
"😣 But... but P. I was just following your orders... 😦 You told me not to move..."
"Since when did you follow my orders?! 😡 Come on! Let's get you back to your room!"
"😥 I can't, P... Yo and P'Pha are in my room right now. I don't want to disturb them..."
"...Urgh... fine! Let's go! You're coming to my room!"
