Kit staggered as Ming held him by his wrist and pulled him down towards the bed. 😯 Stunned and confused, what he could do was to let himself be pulled into sitting down beside his Nong. It was then that he realised that his heart was racing and that he had been in a panic and rushed state. He took a deep breath, and another...
"Calm down na, P. I'm okay."
Not even half-way calmed down yet, Kit felt his worry rise at hearing those words.
"😠 What do you mean you are okay?! You are not-"
"P, calm down. Come on now. Take a deep breath."
Kit stared at Ming incredulously. At the same time, he knew that he was maybe being a bit too dramatic. Feeling himself blushing in embarrassment, 😳 he looked away, not being able to be face to face and eye to eye with Ming.
"What the heck am I doing?!" Kit thought frustratingly, trying as much as he could to even out his breathing.
"P'Kit, look at me." Kit heard Ming said as he felt his Nong's hand beneath his chin, tilting his head so that he was looking towards him.
Looking directly into Ming's eyes, Kit couldn't help but feel overwhelmed and mesmerized by the emotions there. The phrase “the eyes are the window to the soul” seems to be very appropriate at this moment. In his Nong's eyes, Kit could practically see the sincerity, the tenderness, the concern, the-the love?? It was all too much for Kit though. He just doesn't get how or what this-this junior of him sees in him, or even if this is all true.
"P'Kit... I'm alright. Okaaaaay, maybe not totally fine but it's just a fever. I'm not dying or anything-"
"😲 Don't say that!!"
"OK P 😊. I'm sorry I made you worried na. But I know what will make me feel better 😉."
"What?"
"You, here, taking care of me 🤗❤."
