Kit looked around (😂 sneakily of course). He hadn't seen *him* since the awful and embarrasing episode this morning and couldn't help but wonder...
"Wait...what?! Why am I thinking about him?!" Kit thought, horrified 🤤.
"Ai Kit! What are you doing?"
Kit turned around, startled out of his thoughts, as Beam put his hand on his shoulders.
"😲 What-what are you talking about?! I'm not looking for anyone!"
"😈 Hmmm... I didn't say you were looking for anyone..."
"Shit!" Kit thought, his face turning red 😳. He cringed at his own slip of the tongue. With Beam, he will confirmed be teased endlessly...
"😎 Where were you last night, Ai~Kitty~? 😏 You didn't return after you went to the shop. 😈 Had fun... with our dear Nong Ming?"
"You-you...!"
"P'Kit, P'Beam, sawadee krap."
"Saved by the bell!" 😥 thought Kit in relief as he and Beam looked up to see their Nong Yo and Pha walking towards them. Looking around, Kit felt relief (😅 really?) creeping into him because *he* was not in sight.
"Hey Yo! How are you today? Did you have a good rest last night? 😁"
"I'm OK, P'Beam. I even slept through the thunderstorm last night. Thank you for your concern".
"That's good to hear. But you still look pale and down though. 😋 Where's your best friend? He should be here to cheer you up! Even P'Kit missed him today 😉".
"😲 Whu-what! I-I don't miss him! Speak for yourself, Beam!" spluttered Kit in surprise.
"Where is he anyway, Yo? I thought you guys are inseparable?"
"That's partly why I am feeling down, P'Kit. I was already not feeling well and now, 😟 Ming doesn't seem to be feeling well too. He came back to our room this morning looking pale and sickly. I wanted to stay and look after him but he chased us away, not wanting to spoil our day. So P'Pha and I decided to go to the pharmacy to get some medicine for him. I am worried that his fever might go up."
"😲 He has a fever?? But I... I thought he..."
"🤤 Oh no! What if he collapsed in the room while you guys are away?" asked Beam (😈 purposely, of course). "😲 What if he knocked his head when he collapsed and is bleeding right now as we speak??"
"Beam, stop it. 😑 Can't you see that you're making Yo more worried?" scolded Pha, unhappy that his Nong was getting more worked up by Beam's remarks.
"😣 P'Pha, let's hurry to the pharmacy now ok."
"Yo, don't listen to what Beam said. I am sure that Ming is fine. He was lying down on the bed when we left, resting. Beam was joking around. Just ask Kit, right Ki- Kit 😕? Where are you going?"
"Er guys. 🤥 I- I left something in the room. I'll just go up and take it. I'll see you guys later ok."
