Kit told himself that he had no choice.
"What else am I supposed to do?? 😑 Leave him there??" thought Kit. "It's not like I care about him or anything..."
But those thoughts in his head piped down when he turned to look at the guy beside him. Ming was already soaked to the bones and with the strong wind blowing, Kit could see that he was shivering. 😥 It seemed pointless to hold the umbrella over him but he at least wanted to... to shield Ming from...
"🤤 What am I thinking about?! No. I am just helping out a junior in need! Yes! That's what I'm doing."
With that unconvincing thought, Kit focused on guiding them both back to the resort. It seemed like it took ages before they both reached the first floor lobby. Kit breathed a sigh of relief as they stepped out of the rain... which immediately changed to worry when he saw Ming standing quietly beside him, shivering more and more.
"😓 You are such a troublesome guy, aren't you?" Kit said, to no one in particular actually, but was heard by Ming anyway.
"😩 Ss... Sorry, P..."
"Tsk... 😒 Let's go. We need to get you warm and dry."
Without putting in too much thought into it, he wrapped one arm around Ming's waist and guide him along to his and Beam's room.
"Thank God that Beam is not here." 😥 a relieved Kit thought. He couldn't imagine the teasing he would get if Beam saw him now 😈... with this guy... alone in the room...
"No no no! Nothing is going to happen. Nothing! Stupid Beam and his teasing!" 😡 Kit thought as he shook his head in denial.
"Are... are...y-you alri-right, pp... P?"
"Am I alright?? 😡 You should just worry about yourself! 😠" Kit said, exasperatedly. "Come on, let's get inside."
