X.❦ "Glad to hear."
"Miss Wallace?" Olivia's head shot up at hearing her name. Her eyes were wide as she stared up, meeting two not-so-happy grey eyes. "Where is your project?" Olivia felt her stomach tighten, her mouth falling slightly open though no words were ever leaving her lips.
My teacher pushed his hands upon his hips, arrogance added to his demanding posture.
"Uhm..." Olivia swallowed, cursing the reason in her head and wishing for him to be doomed in Hell. Huffing, she decided a confrontation would be the best decision at this very moment after school. "I...uh...forgot." Her head fell forward as she felt all the eyes staring at her. Especially her teacher's.
"Miss Wallace...I demand the project from you to be handed in by tomorrow before eleven PM." Olivia quickly looked up and nodded, watching as he walked back down aisles and stood back in front of the program-desk. A few buttons were pushed in, and soon a 3D-presentation was set in a hologram coming out of their desks.
But she was snapped out of her stare as she felt a kick against her ankle. her head immediately turned sideways, meeting Oliver's confused eyes.
"What is up with you?" He asked, his eyebrows into a frown. Olivia's eyes quickly glanced at the hologram in front of her, seeing that the teacher was explaining English Literature during Modernism.
"Just leave it." She waved it off.
"No, Olivia." Oliver sternly demanded, pushing his hand on her thigh and digging his fingers into the skin to catch her attention till she had no more to spend on him. "Tell me."
The words, the reason, the anger, the sadness, the exhaustion... it all laid on her tongue. Pushing against her lips so a weight would be lifted off her shoulders for telling someone. But the memory of Oliver's reaction when she and Harry went outside stopped her, made her mind freeze. A tiny smile was created on her lips before they parted. Though Olivia wished for the words she so badly wanted to speak, her mind had other plans.
"I'm fine, just a bit tired, really."
Oliver's eyelids tightened, his hand falling from her thigh as he slightly turned his body back in its original position. But Olivia's throat was squeezed together as he shook his head to himself, staring into her eyes. "You're going to tell me sometime."
Olivia's eyebrows fell into a frown. Though she knew he knew her well enough to say that, it angered her he was expecting her to give in. "What the fu-"
"Miss Wallace! First, you forgot you project and second, you're keeping someone from doing their work in class. I do not tolerate this kind of behaviour... I'd like to have a talk with you after class."
"Yes, sir." Olivia spoke quietly before staring down at the blank screen in front of her, where letters were waiting to be written onto.

"Miss Wallace, this is a side of you I have never met. Are there any particular reasons to present yourself like this?"
Olivia swallowed down the hardness of her throat, her hands balling into fist so her nails were digging into her flesh. Debating whether or not she should again take the chance to talk, she slicked her lips before biting on it.
"Well?" The teacher encouraged and by then, Olivia's hands felt clammy because of the restlessness in her body. But then, she looked up and gave the best shrug she could give.
