VI.❦ "Darkness in the bedroom."
Olivia's eyes shot open upon hearing a loud noise. A familiar loud noise. Her head rolled to the side as she recognized the loud music before she sighed and closed her eyes again. When she swallowed to wet her insides, she felt her body rejecting the movement. Her eyes shot open and she immediately stood from the bed, opening the bathroom door.
Just before she reached her destination, she gagged and flinched as her stomach was emptied over the clean bright tiles of the bathroom floor. Tears prickled in the corners of her eyes as she held her hand onto her throat, feeling it tense every time she threw up.
The last bit was done nicely in the toilet, but the bathroom was already a mess. Olivia took in a big gulp, filling her lungs back with oxygen before sighing and resting her head on the toilet lit, feeling the cold material lovely against her sweaty skin. The nasty taste still noticed in her mouth and her head was pounding in the rhythm a fast heartbeat.
Just then, her new neighbor turned up the music to a louder volume and the lyrics came hear-able.
"Darkness in the bedroom,
Maybe she's resting up.
Maybe she was out late,
Just got back from the club."
Exactly when the singer continued, the volume was back down its previous level, as if he realized he'd turned the volume up too much - not like the volume was much better after he'd turned it a bit down again.
Slowly, Olivia stood up and noticed her hair had gotten unharmed by her vomit much to her liking. Cleaning herself, she washed her face till it was make-up free, pulled her hair in a quick ponytail and then took a look at herself, seeing what a mess she was. Her skin was as white as a piece of unused paper, and the skin under her eyes as dark as black inked. She shook her head, trying to recall the events from last night. The only things she could remember and that she managed to remember notwithstanding the music that was still playing and her pounding head that made her fall asleep made her close her eyes.
The guys that whistled to her and Jamie when they were on their way to the party, the drinking with the group of friends Olivia had and...
Olivia's eyes shot open, "Harry?!" She yelled out in a whisper to herself, her eyes widening at hearing her saying his name. She remembered him taking her outside, having a smoke and the wine she drank but furthermore, she couldn't remember a thing. Olivia's eyes shifted over the sink, remembering her promise to Jamie. What would she think now? Her best friend broke their promise yet again.
"Shit." Olivia cursed and shook her head at herself before walking out of the bathroom into her bedroom. After digging in her purse for her phone, she swiftly got it out and saw that it was 2:09 A.M. But a notification caught her attention, a new message from Jamie just an hour ago.
Let me know if he has done someth. x - 01:20 A.M.
Olivia frowned at the text. Who was going to do something? And what could he maybe have done? Olivia wanted to call her, but she asked herself if Jamie'd still be awake. Olivia decided a WhatIsUp message would be better and that she'd call Jamie tomorrow in case she would disturb her sleep at that moment.
"Who and what are you talking about?? I am so sorry, Jamie. I dont know what to do or say right now... I am so fucking sorry. Thank you for bringing me home and lying me in bed, though I didnt deserve it. Sleepwell, Ill call you tomorrow XOXO" - 02:010 A.M.
