I was waiting outside with Missy when we saw Nas.

"Oi." Missy said "You gonna keep going on ignoring us." Nas didn't answer "Rude"

We continued in silence for a bit.

"Look lets talk about last night ok." I say

"I'd like not to." Nas replied

"So you're ... gay" Missy asks

"Listen this is NOT not talking about it ok."

"Do you fancy me?" Missy asked

"NO" Nas said

"What about Alex." Missy asks I flash Nas a quick smile and twirl

"NO" Nas said again

"Its ok if you do." Missy says 

"Look I don't." Nas says

"I don't feel the same way." Missy says

"Look Missy Alex I don't like you."

"Come on Nas how can you not like this." I say gesturing to my body

"Yeah." Missy says " We don't want to break your heart or summit. We could figure it out- like, I can."

"Missy listen to me really clearly- I don't like you or Alex"

"Really" Me and Missy say at the same time

"Promise" Nas replies

"Why?" Missy asks

Nas and I just laugh 

"Nasreen." We looked up to see Alya " What are you doing. I thought we talked about this. About them"

"Alya there my beat mates. I'm allowed to hang out with them if I want." Nas sighs

"Yeah but you represent us. We should be sticking together."

"What, so just cause we look a like and believe the same thing. I've now got to THINK like you as well." Nas said

"What so you're taking it off now as well." Alya accuses

"No" Nas says " Cause clearly I was wearing it for the wrong reasons."

"You're embarrassing yourself." Alya snarls

We were standing by the lockers chatting.

"Ok if you don't fancing us." I say "Then who do you fancy." I say poking Nas

"Her?" Missy says as she saw the woman walking past " The new teacher she aint going to go for you."

"Already has." Nas says smirking.

"Our little Nasreen has game." I say chuckling

"No- in the last year at my old school, she was only there a term. I thought i'd never see her again."

"OOOOOH" Me and Missy whispered
