Vic and I have been dating for a little over a month now and things have been absolutely perfect. He was so sweet and caring. Vic genuinely cared about after the whole drama with my stepsisters, he helped with all the shit that happened. Vic was even adopted into my little group of friends.
I felt bad though, after he and I became public, all of his friends pretty much dropped him and, while Vic told me it was my fault, I knew it was. It was my fault that the kindest guy in not only the school but, probably the whole world had practically become a social pariah.
"You're supposed to be having fun," Vic sang, his hand squeezing mine lightly. I giggled and rolled my eyes. It was Christmas eve, eve and Vic had decided to take me out on a surprise Christmas date before he had to fly out of state to his mom's house for Christmas. "It's ice skating Kells, it's fun!" He exclaimed, I laughed again and leaned against my boyfriend, so I didn't fall on my ass.
"I'm not good at this!" I whined, Vic chuckled and led me around the rink slowly.
"You're doing great baby," he exclaimed, giving me a quick kiss before my asshole of a boyfriend let go of my hand and skated away from me, doing stupid tricks as I wobbly skated to the wall and held on for dear life to the little pole. I smiled a little though as I watched Vic weave through kids and kids and other cheesy couple who had the same idea as us. Vic did a cute little twirl and sent me a goofy grin. He was just so graceful and handsome and, I was just absolutely crazy about him. I eventually tore my gaze away from my too perfect boyfriend and carefully skated back to where Vic and I had placed our shoes. Once there, I let out a sigh of relief and fell onto the cold bench replacing my skates with my warm, comfy boots. I grabbed Vic's wallet from the locker Vic rented for our things and hurried to the little food stand. I quickly bought two hot chocolates with extra foam and a cake pop for Vic. I got back to our spots just as Vic got off of the rink. I gave him one look before scowling at him.
"I should pour this on you!" I stated, Vic sent me a small smile, sitting down to unlace his boots.
"It's a good thing you're a pacifist huh?" He said, grinning at me. "But why would you want to pour hot chocolate on me?"
"You left me! I could have died!"
Vic laughed and slipped his Vans on before he stood, took his hot chocolate, his cake pop and gave me a kiss.
"You would not have died Princess," he informed me before taking a giant bite of his cake pop, eating half of it in a single bite.
"You're a pig," I teased, Vic glared at me playfully.
"If my hands weren't full, I'd flick your nose," he stated. I smiled at him and just took a drink of my hot chocolate, getting whipped cream on my nose, which Vic licked off. I let out a giggle and stepped away from him.
"So, what's next on your wonderful Christmas Eve, Eve date?" I questioned, the two of us walking away from the rink.
"I was thinking dinner and then maybe go to that little Santa's Village thing and have you meet Santa and sit on his lap."
I crinkled my nose and giggled a little, "Baby, I'm a little old to be meeting Santa."
"I call bullshit, you're never too old to meet Santa Clause." Vic responded, throwing his cake pop stick in a nearby trash can.
"Vic," I whined. "Why do you want me to sit on Santa's lap?" I questioned, taking his hand in mine.
"It'll be cute."
"Are you sure that's all? Just imagine it Hun, me on some other guy's lap, my ass pressed against his leg, so close to hi-" Vic covered my mouth and sighed.
"Fine, no Santa, you just wanna make everything lame," he said, pouting at me.
I smiled and gave him a kiss, "I don't like Santa." I murmured against his lips, spilling my hot chocolate on the ground, melting the surrounding snow.
"Fine, but will you at least walk around downtown with me and be cheesy and look at lights?" He asked me.
"Of course, but can we get some food first? I'm hungry," I whined, rubbing my stomach. Vic nodded and kissed the back of my hand.
"Of course, where do you want to go?"
"I'm craving a salad," I said, crinkling my nose a little.
"Why are you crinkling your nose?" He asked.
"I dunno, I want a salad but I want a good one," I told him. "I changed my mind, I want Indian food."
Vic laughed but nodded his head nonetheless, "Sounds good. I think there's one that's close by." He informed me. A few minutes later, the two of us were at his car and he drove to the closest Indian restaurant.
"Alright," Vic said, taking a small package from under his arm as we sat across one another in the restaurant.
"Alright," I said nervously, eyeing the package wrapped in Santa wrapping paper.
"This, is for my beautiful and wonderful girlfriend," Vic told me, handing me the present. I blushed.
"I-I'm still working on yours," I said, embarrassed that I had nothing for him. I was still working on the perfect gift for him and I didn't want to give it to him until it was absolutely perfect in every single way possible.
"I know but, here's yours baby girl."
I blushed and ripped open the paper carefully to find a box and Vic gave me an embarrassed smile.
"I couldn't decide what to get you so I may or may not have gotten all of it for you so I didn't have to decide." He said, blushing a little. I giggled and opened the box, letting out a gasp.
"Oh my god, I love Toms," I squealed, pulling the yellow shoes out. "And I love this color!"
"Keep going Sweetheart," he pushed, I nodded and pulled out not only a box set of different types of crystals, making me let out another happy squeal before picking out the different scarves and skirts before gasping.
"Baby," I said quietly, pulling the little device out of the box. "You shouldn't have."
"You needed a new one Kells, yours was outdated and I know you've been wanting a new one."
I smiled and cradled the iPod to my chest. "You're so amazing. But really, this is too much."
Vic shook his head, "Nothing is ever too much for you."
I leaned over the table and gave him a sweet kiss, "You're absolutely amazing, so fucking amazing. Did you know that?"
"Nah, I'm not but I'm glad you liked it."
"I love it Vic," I said and kissed him again.
God, the more I was with him, the more I was falling in love with him.
