In the middle of the night I woke up to the sound of intense scratching. I turned over on my side and tried to fall back to sleep but the scratching persisted.
I got up and looked around my room: nothing was there. As soon as I began to leave the room to get my mom the sound ceased. I shrugged and went downstairs anyway to get some water.

Jun Ho was still asleep when I left so I couldn't ask him if he heard it too. When I arrived at school, H and Soro were waiting for me. H was concerned and took my pulse.
"What will that help?" I asked. A huge grin began to form on his face. A grin that made my chest feel heavy from fear and happiness. He looked at Soro.
She smiled back at me the same way.
