I looked at the needle and then at H and Soro. Did they really expect me to go through with this?!

"I'm really sorry guys but I just can't," I said adjusting the collar on my uniform.

"We are, too," Soro replied and grabbed the needle out of my hand. She handed it to H and grabbed my arms. My legs were then held down by her knees as she sat down to keep me held.

"What are you doing?!" I began shrieking.  H covered my mouth with his forearm keeping my eye open with his hand.

"Everything will be just fine," he replied positioning the needle by my eye. As the needle began getting closer and closer, my heart began to speed. By now the needle was centimeters away from my eyeball. Tears flowed down my cheeks in waterfalls as the panic began taking over.

"Why are you afraid, Chi?" H asked. My heart was beating so hard against my chest that even he noticed.

"Is everything that I know untrue?" I asked. H's eyes softened and he by himself embraced me. My face grew hot as he reassured me.

"Of course not!" he said. "I am still me and you are still you. Most of the people in this world are just like us. Except they don't have our gift."

"What gift?"

"The gift of see what is beyond this falsehood."

"I don't understand."

"You will with time," he said letting me go. H then smiled and we proceeded with our regular school routine.
