It was a busy day in the desert Twolegplace. Twolegs were in their usual places holding up weird items and giving them to other Twolegs. A hairless but delicate creature walked up to the Twoleg. It was a cat;meowing for attention. It put its soft and scrawny paw behind its ear then felt something slide around their neck.

Looking at it, it was one of the most interesting things they had seen;presenting a blue thing in the center. The cat purred and nosed another one, with a particularly large stone. The Twoleg made an affectionate noise and another hairless creature shyly came forward, this time a she-cat.

Sitting by his side, the Twoleg put the object around her neck, petting them and gesturing her scrawny paws for them to leave. The two cats leaving, entered into a large open and abandoned area.

A large golden tabby tom drew near. "Dune, you and Jewel have returned." He meowed.
Dune purred and was then greeted by his kits, all hairless like him and his mate of course, heirs to his Clan. Suddenly, a hairless she-cat drew to him. "Brother. You have returned from your expedition with objects. But no food?" She asked.

Dune lashed his rat like tail. "I am the Pharaoh Scorch," he meowed. "A Pharaoh does not hunt." His eyes burned into hers like the sun. She sniffed and lifted her chin. Dune blinked. "Where is Lizard?"

"Hunting like you instructed him to do." She mewed bluntly, averting her eyes from him. Dune twitched his tail with Jewel and his kits following after. The she-cat watched, keeping her eyes on her brother.

The pharaoh turned to look at the golden tabby tom. "Brick, do a look around the boundaries one more time. Make sure you do it throughly." He mewed. Brick slunk low, his muzzle to the ground. "Yes Dune, come along now Quartz." A small bronze she-cat bounded for her mentor and followed after him.

Scorch rolled her eyes and heard pawsteps behind her. "There you are Lizard." She mewed, not even looking behind her. It was none other than him of course. "Dune made me hunt again." He mewed.

"Pain in the claws that one. I bet our father above in the skies is regretting the day he claimed him pharoah of OasisClan.." she muttered.

A growl rumbled in Lizard's throat. Scorch drew a line in the dust with one long twisted claw. "But that will all be taken care of. You will be pharoah like you should have been my brother." She vowed, a purr in her delicate voice.

"Like I always should have been." The word coming out in the form of an enraged snarl. Scorch blinked her eyes up to the indigo sky. "And once you are pharaoh, OasisClan will be perfect.." she meowed.

The siblings did not favor their brother, always having their father's attention, being the one chosen to follow his pawprints to be pharaoh. Lizard had every right to be pharaoh, Dune was soft and never desiring conflict. Just sitting around and doing nothing but eating sleeping. Then desert wanderers were stealing their hard enough to earn prey.

"If it was to me, I'd flay those Desert Wanderers." Lizard sneered silently. Scorch rested her tail onto her brother's. "We fought harder than he ever has." She clawed the ground, her eyes gleaming in the dark.
