The writers block is real doods🙄 enjoy this random pic from my camera roll.
================================

My first high school party. Oh god. Who would have thought I'd be throwing it. Years from now if u asked me what I would be doing right now, I'd say I would be studying or out fighting. Not partying. How did I let them convince me to do this?

I nervously looked around at the enormous amount of kids swarming my home. My personal space. I looked around analyzing the situation, trying to be sure nothing was broken.

Who even has a party on a school day?! Well, I guess Carter and Dylan do. And apparently me now too.

Making my way through the crowd, I headed towards the kitchen. The kitchen was loaded with snacks, alcohol, and PDA. I cringed as some couple was making out, shoving their tongues down each other's throats.

As I was trying to decide what I wanted to drink, someone threw their arm around me. I tensed at the touch and turned to see who it was. Chase's handsome features were formed into a smirk. Chase and I weren't exactly best friends, but we were pretty close. We kind of grew up together considering he's my neighbor. I usually stayed shut in my room, so I never really engaged with him after high school started.

I mean I totally had a crush on him as a kid, don't get me wrong, he's gorgeous. But high school started and me being the nerd and him being sort of popular person, we kinda grew apart. Chase, Emily, and I were the three musketeers as kids. You couldn't separate us even if you tried. But Emily was wild and her parents were strict and when they found out she was sleeping around and drinking Freshman year, they sent her to an all girls boarding school. Emily was the glue that kept us together I guess.

I looked at Chase with a questioning look. "What?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Harsh." He said laughing slightly, letting go of me. "Can't a boy visit his old bestie's first party? I am your neighbor after all. By the way, sick invite." I rolled my eyes and continued to examine the drinks. "Here." Chase placed a cold glass bottle of beer into my sweaty palm.

"Chase," I warned, "You know I don't drink." He chucked lightheartedly.

"I was just double checking. We haven't talked since Emily..." he looked at his feet and we both remained silent. "Well hey," he said breaking the silence. "You should loosen up. This is your first party! You should be having fun, not worrying about everything. I know you said no drinking, but c'mon let's just take one shot." I paused for a long time before finally nodding.

As you can probably guess one shot turned into four shots of vodka and some beer. I sat there a slurring, laughing, pink cheeked mess. Chase, who was equally as hammered, had his arm slung around my shoulders, singing was I guessed was an out of tune version of "Single Ladies." We dragged ourselves up the stairs and to my room where Chase fell onto my white, fuzzy rug. I stumbled to my bed and flipped onto it.

"Chaaase c'mon up here. It's comfierrrr." I whined. I giggled at myself and hiccuped.

"Mkay, Superman is coming." He slurred.

"You're not Superman.... are you?" I asked dumbfounded.

"Yes, I am. Boom! Secrets out!" My jaw dropped. "I'm kidding! Haha! You believed me!" He burst into a fit of laughter. I gasped.

"You trickster!" I yelled before tackling and tickling him. He screeched and begged for me to stop tickling him. I laughed and refused to stop. He pushed me off of him and rolled on top of me, holding my hands to prevent me from tickling him. I panted trying to get my breath back after laughing so hard. He smirked at me. "You know," I said absentmindedly, "This is usually the part in movies where you would kiss me." He chuckled at this and his eyes flickered to my lips.

"Well, if I'm Superman, and you're my kryptonite, then this must be a movie." He said while still looking at my lips. He dipped his head down before I could reply with something stupid. His lips met mine and they softly kissed me. I soon kissed him back, taking this as a chance to regain control over the situation and pushed him over, straddling him. It seemed as if there wasn't a party going on down stairs and it was just the two of us fooling around like it used the good old days. Suddenly the door flung open and Carter and Dylan burst in frantically looking around for someone. Carter spotted me and Chase. He started to say something, hesitated, and left. Dylan ran over to me and Chase and pulled me up.

"Where the hell have you been?!" He whisper yelled. "We've been looking all over for you, we were so worried." When Dylan said this, I didn't look him in the eyes, but instead looked at the creases in his forehead. He seemed to have actually worried about me. Wait. Did he say we? Him and Carter really were worried about me then.

"Calm down Dyl Pickle." I said using his childhood nickname and rolling my eyes. "Chase was just helping me enjoy the party you threw at MY house."

"Well Jelly Bean," he paused, " you know what forget it you're drunk. I don't feel like arguing with you."

"Hey, um guys? I'm still here ya know." Chase was sitting cross-legged, looking up at us.

"I know Superman." I replied. " How about you head home, ok? I'm feeling dizzy and it's late. I'll have Dylan here drive you." He nodded and stood up before he feel over, due to his drunken state. Dylan caught him and dragged him towards the stairs and outside.

When they left I laid back down, still feeling dizzy. I heard my door creak open a crack, but was too tired to say anything. The mystery person sat on the edge of my bed and examined my face. I opened one eye and saw Carter looking at me with a sad face. I decided I'd pretended not to have noticed that. "Hey dummy, what's up?" His face perked up when he heard my voice and he smiled at me. Is he faking that smile? Why?

"Just checking on you. Dylan wanted me to keep an eye on you." I shook my head upon hearing this.

"When will he understand I'm a big girl and can handle myself?!" I said exasperated. "For gods sake! I use big girl panties, I don't wear pull-ups anymore!" I suddenly remembered it was Carter I was talking to and I felt my body get hot with embarrassment, before shaking it off.

"Interesting." Was all he replied with. I tried to stand up but Carter stopped me. "You're too drunk."

"God, woman! I just needa pee!" I said annoyed. He chuckled at me and I whacked his hands away and stood up. I fell backwards and darkness consumed me.

Guess I was a little more drunk than I thought I was.
