So my friend is forcing me to write another chapter so here you go! Sorry if it's bad I haven't written in a looong time so it may be a bit different. O whale! 🐳
=============================
I woke up the next morning to my phone alarm. I shut off the annoying alarm with my eyes closed. I slowly opened my eyes and screamed. Suddenly the pair of eyes I saw in front of me opened. The blue eyes fluttered as the owner of them seemed to panic. I jumped up and backed away. Squeezing my eyes shut I remembered why that person was there. I grunted and kicked him in the side.

"Jesus Carter! You scared me half to death!" I whisper-screamed.

"It's not my fault you decided to come join me on the floor!" He shot back.

"Shut up. I didn't mean to. I must have rolled off the couch while I was sleeping." Exasperated, I squeezed my eyes shut and rubbed my temples.

"Shit. We have school today. It's Tuesday. Goddam-" I sneezed interrupting my complaining. "Goddammit! I think I got a cold! Stupid lake."

Dylan had woken up during all the noise, while Jade slept soundly on the couch wrapped in MY blanket. How the hell did she get that! Dylan smirked, an odd thing to see when his nose is pink. He sneezed before saying,"Looks like you're gonna have to skip!" I rolled my eyes and walked towards my kitchen. I grabbed some hot chocolate mix and began making hot cocoa. "Extra marshmallows please!" Dylan shouted, waking up Jade in the process. Dylan yelled out again," Hey Jules! We should have a sleepover all week." My grandmother walked out of her room seeming crabby.

"Will you shut your loud yapper?! I'm trying to get my beauty sleep!" She snapped at him.

"Sorry, Grammy! You are already radiant anyway." Dylan shrugged. "Hey, would it be alright if we all slept over all week? We aren't going to school today 'cuz we caught a cold, but we'll go the rest of the week!" He asked with puppy dog eyes. I just stirred hot chocolate, watching the exchange between the two.

"I don't see why not! I'll be out of town with Sammy for a week anyway. We are going to visit my mom, who's sick, and help her out a bit!" My Grammy smiled softly at him.

"Do I even have a say in this?!" I asked.

Dylan and my Grammy exchanged glances before simultaneously saying "Nope!"

I rolled my eyes and set hot chocolate down in front of everyone. We all drank put hot chocolate quietly for a bit. "Why don't we all go home and grab some clothes?" Jade suggested.

Dylan thought for a second. "If you want to you can, but I have clothes right here for Carter and I to wear. I already planned on staying at her house for a few weeks to catch up so I have some extra clothes."

"Alrighty then! I'll just head home and grab some clothes and some makeup and hair stuff. I am quite the girly girl ya know!" I nodded in agreement and she grabbed her keys and was on her way.

"Jellybean?"

"Yes Dill Pickle?" I responded giggling to myself.

"Can I go take a shower in your bathroom?"

"Sure, knock yourself out!" He grinned before heading towards the shower.

My Grammy left to pick up some groceries for the week. Grandmothers are always so determined to make sure you eat! I began to make some pancakes and bacon for a late breakfast. A 'brunch' some people may call it. I heard a noise behind me and whipped around, whisk in hand. Pancake batter splattered on the intruders cheek.

"Carter, what the fuck?!" I exclaimed. He wiped the batter from his cheek. He dipped his finger in the batter and backed away before I could swat his hand away. He put a line horizontally across each of his cheeks. I raised an eyebrow trying to figure out what he was doing.
