CHAPTER 1:
Beep!
Beeeep!
Beeeeeeep!
Smack!
"Uuuugghhh!"
Thud!
"Owww my head!" I whined after smacking off my alarm clock and gracefully falling off my bed. Sense the sarcasm? I rubbed my head and stood up dragging myself to my closet. After throwing on a tank top I pulled a baggy royal blue sweatshirt over my head and put on gray sweatpants. I walked over to my vanity and saw a bruise on my forehead that was definitely not from my floor.Yesterday while fighting I had been thrown against an ally wall slamming my head on it before knocking the guy out and calling the cops to come get him and his buddies. The cops have no idea who or what I am. No one does. I use paints my mother had given me before the car crash and paint random patterns on my face to hide my identity and then I wear all black or all gray.
I know what you're thinking I'm insane! But really I enjoy doing this it makes me feel like I'm still with my parents and it's the one place I can just be me. I grab my cover up and quickly cover the bruise before styling my brown hair in a bun, throwing on my black and white converse and trotting down stairs. "Bye grandma! Bye Sammy!" I shout to my grandma and 10 year old brother, who had been 2 when my parents died. I grab an apple and run out the door to my black truck. "Bye Julia!" They yelled as Sammy continued to get ready for school.
After 5 minutes I arrive at school and hop out of my truck grabbing my bag and sprinting into the school to my locker. While I'm running to class so I won't be late, I bump into the one person I go out of my way to avoid and drop all of my things.
Shit! I mentally curse myself for being so clumsy.
I fake out a stutter," M-Mia I-I'm sorry." "You better be bitch!" She states in that pitchy voice I hate so much. I cast my eyes downwards and begin gathering my things. Wonderful! I just had to bump into the most popular girl in the school! Of fucking course!
I sigh and walk away from her as I head to my class and take my seat in the front. I huff and take out my notebook beginning my math work. Great just another day in paradise!
