Chapter 2- Best Friend Back Home

Niall was back home. I grinned. He had his back to me and he was talking to four other boys but I didn't care. I ran up to him and attack hugged him, he obviously wasn't prepared for the sudden weight and we both tumbled to the ground.

My throat was dry, but I wasnt sure if it was from thirst of excitment.

I put it to the back of my mind, he was finally back! He looked up at me and a smile spread wide across his face and we both burst out laughing. The four boys just stared at me still in shock from my sudden appearance. One had bright green eyes and curly dark hair, another was brunette and wearing suspenders, one had dark skin and a bad boy look going on and the last had brown kind of curly hair sticking up from under a beanie with a panda face and ears on it.

I really needed some water.

“Uh, guys this is Mae, we have been friends since forever” said Niall grinning

I was glad Niall was as happy to see me as I was to see him.

“Well any friend of Niall’s is a friend of ours” said the boy with bright green eyes.

He held a hand out to drag me up but instead of just helping me up he pulled me into a hug, I awkwardly hugged him back.

“Uhh pleased to meet you” I said slightly confused by how friendly he was.

I brushed the snow off my clothes and looked down at my shoes.

“Well don’t help me up then!” Niall said scrambling to his feet. “This is Harry, he flirts with anything that moves”

Harry just laughed “I think she knows who we are Niall”

My throat was like a freaking desert.

I stared at the ground my cheeks red. They all look at me confused. I couldn’t afford a TV and well I wasn’t a directioner. So I didn’t know their names,

“Umm well sorry I don’t know any of your names except Niall” I say my face a deep red with embarrassment.

 “Oh” said Harry and the boy in suspenders in unison.

Sudden realisation spread across Niall’s face. Niall knew how I didn’t have much money and how I didn’t own a TV. He came over and wrapped his arm around me in comfort.

“It’s ok, it’s not your fault I’m the only one with a name worth knowing” he grinned lightening the mood

The boy in suspenders swatted at Niall.

“Don’t be stupid I’m everyone’s favourite and everyone knows it” the bad boy joked.

The boy with the panda beanie smiled. I decided to call him Panda boy. I smiled at that name, panda boy.

I need to leave so I can get some damn water.

“Well as you know I’m Harry, this is Louis” said Harry pointing at the boy in suspenders.

Louis scrunched up his face in a smile and grabbed a carrot out of his pocket and started eating. Wait what? A carrot? I had heard that one of them liked carrots but I didn’t think they were actually serious.

“I’m Zayn” said the guy with tan skin.

“And I’m Liam” said Panda boy.

“Nice hat Panda boy” I smiled. I surprised myself with my own confidence, I was usually really shy.

Everyone cracked up laughing expect Liam who just glared at me with a smile wide on his face. They all started chatting about family and Christmas when suddenly my head began to spin. Gosh I was so thirsty. My vision blurred and I grabbed onto Niall before I collapsed and everything went black.
