* This is sort of the end of my long interduction to this all. Just wanted to give a bit of a background and such before jumping into a story, you know? c:

Anyways! Feel free to comment and suggest and such of the sort. You know the drill. ;3 *

He shot me a fake hurt look before the stage manager approached, "Everybody ready"

I quickly peered around, trying to make sure everyone had what they needed and such of the sort. We had everything, good, less stress on my shoulders.

"Uh, guys..." Cody groaned as he motioned towards his broken drumsticks.

"Cody, what in the world happened?" I groaned back bringing my hands to my head.

"It wasn't like I did it"

"Then who did?" Chimed in Macy.

"I dunno, it had to be someone-"

We realized why he cut himself off when our heads turned over our shoulder to see Truthful Identity. Unlike most of the other bands, they didn't really give us any special looks of 'ew look rookies' and so I knew this just had to be a coincidence, or well, I'll admit, I hoped it was. "You can borrow mine." Caleb spoke, his eyes meeting mine instead of Cody's. How odd. "You guys seem nice, I figured you'd do the same for me." he added finally peering at Cody and handing him his drumsticks, before glancing back at me and flashing a smile before reuniting with his groupies.

My heart fluttered under my chest, and I swear my face was beginning to turn a bit red. So what? He was cute, okay? It wasn't like he liked me like THAT though, perhaps I was just interesting?

"That's they guy isn't it?" Macy said with a toothy grin, eyes seeming to carefully study me. I felt odd under such gaze.

I turned back around, "Yes, but it doesn't mean anything."

"Cosette I swear-" Macy started, but was cut off when the stage manager came back.

"Everyone ready now?" We all gave nods, and she smiled, leading us to the side of the stage were we would enter to preform. "Now remember, don't forget to take it easy if you feel lightheaded, even though we may be holding this outdoors, the last thing we need is a singer passing out and rioting fans." the manager spoke, trying to pull a joke out of it to make it a bit less serious. I couldn't help but wonder if it ever got boring for her, sending bands onto stages over and over as a job.

"Is Cosette Dawson nervous?" Alex taunted me, poking me with his bass in my back.

"Of course not, but I'm about to make you that way." I turned around grinning evilly and it certainly seemed to take Alexander by surprise. Cosette:1 Alex:0

We just went to step on stage when Miranda, our band manager, ran into us, "GOOD!" she huffed out, seeing as she had ran around all the back stage area since she arrived late, "Break a leg guys." she smiled before we all stepped out onto the stage.

There were so many people, some sitting, others standing, and it seemed like one HUGE party. It was certainly bigger than any other gig K.O. had ever had before! I couldn't help but smile, even though goosebumps rose on my skin. It was hard not to be a bit nervous, I couldn't bare to think what it would be like to miss a note in front of this many people. I grew even more anxious. Though, Macy began and everyone else followed and before I knew it I was lost in the music, toning any and everything out like in rehersals. The words and notes just came to me and I poured my heart and soul into it until the very last note was uttered and silenced.

I drew in a deep breath as I listened to the applause, peering behind me to see Nicole grinning that cheesy grin of her's before we moved off stage. My heart was throbbing from the anxiety I had pushed away, but I knew that we did well, that we preformed out best, and I couldn't help but grin a childish grin and I pulled the group into a bear hug, "You guys did wonderful~" I couldn't help but coo teasingly. This only resulted in laughs.

Macy seemed as if she were going to respond with something when Miranda walked up, "Guess what~" she chimed. Oh no. What had she been up to? "You guys may or may not be sighed to open Truthful Idenity's tour."

What. No. She hadn't just said that! Sure their drummer was cute, and the band seemed cool, but, ugh, it was just hard to explain. Yet, everyone seemed happy, so I smiled along, thanking Miranda. A year or so, of touring? Was our band ready for that sort of strain? I wasn't sure but as I stared at them celebrating, I couldn't help but smile.

Maybe we were ready after all.
